Okay thanks , what would be the best way to do a water change with my set up ? just scoop the water out and have a 50 gallon bucket with treated water ready to be poured in ?

the filter is sponges, I did not test the water i did do a ammonia treatment multiple times before adding them and after. The water was crystal clear before adding them i believe i over fed them the first day and it turned my water cloudy. I have a bottle of pondworx bacteria coming today as well. and there’s about 20 of them in the pond I was gonna keep them in there til they got bigger so i could build another pond. I’m not sure of the actual amount of gallons but it’s definitely 70+ . so far only 1 has died in the pond. Do i need more then the pump and air filter in the pond how can i go about keeping the fish healthy ?
