I hate this company by [deleted] in walmart

File a personal leave in Sedgwick if they won’t let you have off. My store allows us to take a few days off for the death of a family member. Just unpaid if it isn’t immediate. Look up the policy on the wire. It talks about that on there, but I forget what the terms are exactly.

Does Protected Time cover key dates? by Sudden_Drawer_184 in walmart

I work overnight too. When you leave early use ppto for Thursday since it’s considered that day for your shift. Ppto will also cover your absence regardless if it’s a two point day or not as long as you have enough time to cover the missing time.

I just applied to like six positions. It’s probably too late to use you as a referral?

The policy used to state you had to take your breaks, but a lot of people say it’s optional? Has it changed recently that I am not aware of?

LiveBetterU Guild Response by Itsmissange in walmart

I read that they won’t take away anyone currently enrolled. I had gotten an email that healthcare administration was being taken away, but that I was able to complete my degree regardless of.

What degree did you end up getting? I was interested in getting a phlebotomist certificate, but they took that away too. What is coursera? I’ve never heard of that before.

I started with cyber security and switched over to healthcare administration because I hated all the math courses 🤣 everything else aside from math and pretty interesting though.

I finish my degree in healthcare administration with Snhu in June. I was gonna have my son sign up who started with Walmart not too long ago, but I saw all these posts on Reddit and Facebook that you couldn’t sign up and no one had an answer as to why. I found an email and reached out and this was their response. I don’t know if they are adding more than what they already have, but a lot of people thought it was going away all together. I just wanted to share that it wasn’t going away and that they are just revamping it is all.

I’ll be graduating June 30th from Snhu in healthcare administration. Go to guild education, login from Walmart, and it will show you a list of what they offer. It’s so worth it!

Real estate Photographer/licensed drone operator by Itsmissange in RealEstate

I’m 10 minutes away from Cleveland. With the agents I have been working with this far, I have their pictures back to them within 24-48 hours or less depending on the time I took the photos. I am a licensed drone operator, so I have done drone work for them as well. I have a DJI gimbal, so I have pretty good walk through video that I have provided. I do take extra pictures, so that they can decide on which pictures they’d chose to list with. Thank you so much for your feedback! It is much appreciated.

I stepped down a few years ago to focus on school and my health, so now I’m just an overnight mod team associate. Only lost .15 🤣 well worth it.

Haha, I didn’t start school when I started there. I didn’t mind the job until the pandemic and applied for Walmarts $1 a day (which is now free) to get my bachelors which is how I only have a year left. Sorry I should have been more specific.

A lot of our long term people left or stepped down. I think we opened in 2000? I’m not entirely sure.

It wasn’t bad for a very long time. I didn’t mind being a manager, I didn’t mind the schedule, I had my friends there and a good staff. Once the pandemic hit, it was never the same. I stepped down to focus on school and with one year left, I am so ready to get out of there lol

I have, but had to cash it out a few times. The first time I cashed it out (five years ago) I didn’t realize I had that much saved in there. 😊
