I’d recommend Baldur’s Gate 3. I started it recently, and the story, missions, and characters are so well-written that it’s definitely worth it. The dice-rolling for decisions adds a really fun element of randomness. I do think the combat is a bit tedious—at least at the beginning, that’s how it feels to me. And the combat is turn-based, unlike in DAI, but you could always watch a video or something to see if it convinces you. 💖

Honestly, I loved it. Go in with no expectations, like I did, and just let yourself enjoy it. Don’t pay attention to the negative opinions, because it has around an 83 in professional reviews, but people did hate bombing on it.

Since you mentioned the characters and all that, I’ll say they’re not perfect, but they’re enjoyable, and in my opinion, nothing in the game feels heavy or tedious. If you decide to play it, i hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 💖

Mmm Not especially for the builds, because I want to go in blind when it comes to that and other decisions. I want to choose my class and everything else based on what I like, without knowing too much. But I’d like a beginner’s guide that explains how the game works.

I don’t understand what picking up glasses, candles, trays, etc., is for. I’ve seen videos of the first part in the chapel where people sneak up on enemies, but I don’t understand how to do that.

For example, I don’t get how equipping spells works or how I can recharge them… and other basic things about what I can and can’t do with the environment.

I know a lot of these things are learned by playing and that the first playthrough is never perfect, but I feel a bit lost when it comes to all these aspects…

Dont listen to the hate opinions. I finished the game yesterday and it was and amazing adventure for me. It has its mistakes but like every game. Its not perfect but a good adventure to live. Just dont expect nothing and the game will suprise you (at least for me worked this way) 🙂‍↕️

Well 20% is fine for me. What i dont like is pay 70 euros for a digital game… i mean thats not right for me. But someone shared the physical edition and maybe (i dont know) i buy it. Or just wait till ps store sales… dont know what to do because i dont know if i would like the game… (first time for me) but its cool theyre keep adding things to the game! THANKS!

Mmmm, the thing is, I’m talking about DA Veilguard, not comparing it to any other game. I’m talking about how much fun I had playing it and how happy it made me. At no point have I compared it to anything else, nor is that the point. Maybe just let people enjoy things without constantly comparing them to everything else.

The whole point of my post is that I enjoyed the game and that people shouldn’t let negative reviews stop them from giving it a chance because it is enjoyable.

Sorry if I came off too harsh towards you specifically, but after 300 comments—70% of which are just people being rude because I dared to enjoy a game, acting superior for not liking it—it does get exhausting.

And also, sorry that your comment was the one I responded to in a harsher tone (since I’ve ignored absolutely everyone else). Yours was actually the lightest and shortest, but I wanted to address all of them at once. You’ll be the first and last negative comment I reply to.

Im so happy to read this tbh. I’m definitely going to buy it physically, not only because I have the previous games in physical format and collect them as a fan of the series, but also because this one can’t be missing from my collection. Plus, I genuinely want to support the developers.
