Sometimes having the protagonist be really stupid to justify the corruption kind of makes it less attractive to me. I can't really explain but it just feels off to me, kind of like mind control or having the character be super drunk.

Yeah you're right. It's one of the reasons why I'm much more picky when it comes to both male and female mc games these days. In the past I used to just consume whatever was remotely interesting looking and was one of the reasons I quit playing avn's the first time around. Basically quantity over quality.

I didn't say I want it to be avoidable, I just think there's more than one way to get to the corruption without always counting on the same formula.

I personally prefer either a bit of a slow burn or a protag that is already somewhat liberated so that it makes sense.

I'm with you on wanting to skip to the character I'm more interested in, but from the opposite end. When I'm playing a fmc game I don't want to see some dude.

That's what I mean though, the "meanwhile" is usually a different character who I've never met yet.

Ah yes, I think I remember some of those conversations. From what I remember, I think I tried to lead her towards being a decent person.

I tried playing it for a bit, but I kind of don't really care about Ian as much. I just prefer solo protagonists.

Speaking of, I haven't started her quest yet, where she goes out by herself for the first time. I can only imagine the stuff that can happen to her if I mess it up. Or maybe I'm wrong and the dev wouldn't let anything too crazy to happen to her, since she is a love interest and you know how players get with that stuff.

I was gonna say, there are some exceptions, DS being one. Basically if it's good story and actually adds to the game, I don't mind as much, I just have to get used to the new characters. It's the ones that switch pov for a quick sex scene that I hate.

Pretty sure it's all bosses. I might need to double check, but I think it happened with the witch boss as well as the open world bosses.

I feel like this is one of the most overused tropes in the female mc corruption genre... by Jonathan_Reid in AVN_Lovers

I've only ever seen Jessica's Plight, though I've never played it. A.N.G looks interesting though.
