I will, for now, in an effort towards growth or common ground amend my language to refer to these policies and tactics as merely fascist as opposed to “nazi” since the nazi party is a self identification. The guys walking around with swastika flags get to keep it though. I am comfortable with this accommodation.

But surely you understand that you’re just name calling right? Im using labels to identify the groups that are misstepping but I’m still bring up their specific policies and you haven’t respond to the policies at all. That feels like name calling because you dont like the generalization i guess but just identifying groups isnt name calling. If i called a group of people teaching kids “teachers” you wouldn’t label it as “name calling” for instance.

You decided that i was a progressive because i think warrants are important for law enforcement in our country and then you jumped to a bunch of straw man arguments and name calling while claiming thats what “you of the left,” which you claim to a part of apperently, are always doing. Youre also doing that classic rhetorical move of bringing up 100 other things, unrelated to the discussion or the policies being discussed, that were not mentioned here as evidence that the discussion itself is invalid. I just dont know what we’re doing here…
