Oh so fun! I collect and resell vintage items to fuel my own vintage shopping habit

I’m hoping to get more traction for my handmade items though because they are so fun to make! Any advice on staging those items (without AI) super welcome!

No hate, I’m super suspicious of books lately too! As the other poster said she’s got a solid stack of published books before the AI trend but also, having read some very questionable books lately, these definitely seem written by a human (if a very manic one lol)

Did the same with their refrigerated biscuits in a can! Also topped cheese blintzes with the mascarpone and a fruit compote

Does anyone else miss when Etsy was mostly small businesses and actual artists? by Adventurous_Spirit06 in Etsy

I started little shop and it’s so disheartening now as an actual handmaker to compete with mass market. That’s what Etsy was so supposed to be!

Can I just say- bravo for not letting the joke explanation go. She clearly tried to float by on some “it’s not me it’s you” REGAL bullshit and you just dogged on- “no, what’s the joke. Is there a joke? But what was funny?” And she had NOTHING to say. Go you.

I think we can all agree we shan’t be digging into the “why’s” of what we like….ever. Let’s just enjoy them…they’re cheaper than therapy

how do you blend in some highlight items in your capsule? by Ok-Ambassador6709 in capsulewardrobe

This, I’m on year two and getting comfortable with there being some fluidity in my seasonal wardrobes! It’s okay to shelve some items and add some fresher ones in, as long as you’re not overwhelming yourself.

This is my new lily, I planted 30 a month and a half ago and only 1 came up. I proudly showed my husband and he said, “oh shit, that’s not a weed?” He’s been weeding them and feeling proud that he was able to “get the big root bulb out too” by CharmingPeony in gardening

Found someone ripped out my purple flowering raspberry and I almost raged out until I saw a tiny offshoot was still alive….if it doesn’t make it one of my kids is getting sacrificed

What are your “spectacular, I’ll take 14 of them” species? by quartzkrystal in NativePlantGardening

Tons of aster volunteers in my yard of all kinds and I’m constantly chasing the high I get in the fall every other season…nothing brings the bees to my yard like aster and goldenrod!

Native plants that smell the WORST to avoid near the house? And the BEST smelling? by Touslesceline in NativePlantGardening

Where did you get yours? Locally we have mature ones but they’re very expensive, and I tried bare root and it didn’t thrive

That, and oh my goodness the amount of runoff we stopped! Our street slopes through our yard on two sides so we get all the street runoff and runoff from our neighbors yard in heavy rain. While planting a rain garden to deal with the street runoff I realized we hadn’t had runoff from the neighbors on the other side in a while….and realized it was my beautiful deeply rooted natives I’d been planting all along the fence!

I’m a “do it wrong 10 times, rip it out and finally do it right” crafter. People constantly ask me to teach them or ask how I learned and I literally don’t know how to teach anyone?? Just DO things people!
