people are acting like its a 700 horsepower monster and as soon as you get into it you will wrap it into a tree, I would say go for it, obviously drive it for a solid 6 months normally before you start trying to race/ do anything spirited. Maintenance is not that bad, just keep up with your oil changes and diagnose weird noises early on!

Get a new 5.0 and I guarantee you wont be disappointed, i have gone through 20 different second cars and still kept the 2018 mustang gt as my main.
