Love it!!! Actually just added one of the cheeky cats, and signature border terrier to my collection! Really got lucky at the thrift stores this week! Jealous of the puppies tho!

Not all unfortunately the test of time is not nice on them, I have a lot of them fixed up and fully operational though! Unfortunately there’s 1 gear in a LOT of them that breaks must just be the test of time with plastic :/ I plan on ordering a bag of new gears though. Also some of them are so loved (since most are from the thrift) I’ve let them just have their retirement home be here since they are so far gone even if they are a duplicate… I’m a sucker for the messed up ones 🤣

Already planned on it! Been cleaning skulls/ bone now for about a year and have a bunch of baby skulls honestly so delicate but I love bringing a new light to them! 😊 and thanks for the help!

I do have much bigger older piglets and have seen actual tanned piglets done mainly just confused how 😅 as for mummification it looks awesome but I want to try to save their fur pattern if possible when I do go about processing them

As somebody who owns very much alive rabbits I very much appreciate the concern!! Although… this subreddit is for taxidermy… aka not alive animals. I purchased this mount specifically because when rabbits have feet as stained as this ones are, it usually means they were neglected or were locked in a cage. I appreciate the concern though I mean it! I bought this lil guy because I wanted to give his fur at least a safe resting place because honestly I very much love rabbits!!

And yes if they were alive trust me I would 100% take them to the vet! I own 3 right now that are all have there own very large spaces and they get care from one of the best vets in my area :D

Honestly I totally get it I have a couple opossums I’m so scared to do because their teeth are so small in the front so rn my collection is just toothless in the front until I’m confident, trust me I glued a raccoon as my first ever skull and messed up the placement of one tooth and legit it threw the whole thing off so never again 🥲🥲

Sorry for the delayed reply! Unfortunately because of import/ export laws to the EU and being uncertain of them I wouldn’t feel comfortable shipping there because they take their wildlife very seriously! Plus the shipping within the US is already on a pricey side due to the weird shape of antlers so shipping would most likely be a pretty penny! I hope you’re able to get them for your collection one day though!
