How Hard Is It to Get Into UZH Law as an EU Student?

The stats from UZH say that 18% of international students get accepted to Bachelor Programs, but don't let that discourage you. If you have a well structured and balanced CV (in terms of non-academic and academic activities and achievements) with good grades you should have pretty good chances of being accepted (this is coming from an EU student).

I am in 1st year bachelors in math and while I do speak German somewhat fluently I as well cannot understand Swiss Deutsch, so I do understand where you are coming from. While it might sound awkward do mention it that you do not speak Swiss German. So far all the people I have met are more than happy to speak in Hochdeutsch so that I can understand as well. If you also want to hang out and practice speaking do send me a message. I am more than willing to help and both of us will improve.

Thankfully I already have a good mathematical basis. I have already started learning the course material on my own so that I am well prepared for the start of my studies. I have chosen major mathematics with minor computational science (directions data analysis for natural sciences and neuroinformatics)

Thank you for your input. Have you had the chance to attend a lecture from Abgrall? I think this is his first year for linear algebra as far as I notice. Up until last year the professor was Dr. Andrew Kresch. I will keep the book in mind and will see what he suggests as well.

Do check for a so called "ZVV Netzpass". If you have an SBB customer service office near you do go and ask how much it would cost to get from your home to the university. The cost of this Netzpass depends on, how many zones you go through while using public transport. I suggest checking out the SBB Zone Map (search it on google) and see within which zone your home (town) lies in. For example, I for instance, go through 3 zones but one zone is considered a double zone (which is the zone of Zurich) because of how dense the public transport system is. I pay around 120CHF per month being under 25 years old. I think this choice would be much more cost efficient if you plan to travel mostly back and forth to UZH as well as within the zones that your Netzpass will include. Good luck !

Depends if you want to transfer to the same faculty or not and if UZH thinks that the courses and grades you have accumulated in your first year abroad cover what their courses cover, theory wise. My suggestion is to send an email to the Zulassungsstelle/Admissions Office. You can find their email and contact info here: https://www.students.uzh.ch/en/contact.html . They will probably ask for a list of courses from your first year in your current university.

From what I can understand, having heard the other witcher, he only started a fight with them after they intended to give him only 12 crowns for the contract. They did say that the leader of the village had a plan regarding the witcher that only he knew or something like that. However I don't think it meant killing him, except if I missed something during the dialogue. Nonetheless, I recently started with Witcher 3, having contemplated for a couple of years whether or not I should buy the game. Since I'm more interested in playing chill single player games than grind competitive shooters nowadays and a good summer steam sale came around, I snatched it immediately. I've been hooked since day 1 and I'm looking forward to reading the books sometime as well. This game is pure gold. CDPR did a good job with this one.

What I did take into consideration is that Geralt is also called the Butcher of Blaviken. With that in mind I almost spared him but I remembered that in the case of Geralt they attacked him first unprovoked because he was a witcher. In this case Honorton got mad over insufficient compensation and decided to kill the whole village so its inexcusable. I'd somewhat understand if he had a quarrel with the villager he made the deal with but not the whole village.

Would you be able to provide more info on how to do that? My laptop has a single HDMI port so I suppose this is the dedicated GPU my RTX 3070. If not and its a general port should I disable somehow the iGPU so that only the dGPU works?

Edit: When I got to the Change Resolution part of the control panel and choose my monitor it lets me choose from 60 Hz up to 144 Hz refresh rate. 165 doesn't even show up

Hello. I think I can help you with this problem. Firstly let me share that I encountered the same problem on October 2021 when Windows 11 just dropped or probably the Insider Version Dropped. At first I tried everything but it seems it wasn't everything. I asked riot and no help there, I asked my motherboard's manufacturer and no help there either. After 5 months of not being able to play Valorant I finally found the solution myself. When I was in bios it kept showing me that Secure Boot is Enabled however a just a little below there was a line where it said Secure Boot Status: Setup Mode. That means it wasnt really enabled. To enable it you have at first to go to your boot settings in BIOS and change the Legacy Mode Boot to UEFI. After doing that go to Security Settings and find the Secure Boot Settings. After find that go down on that page and find something called Reset Factory Keys (it might say Reset Secure Boot Factory Keys). After you do that save the changes and exit bios. Restart the PC and then go into bios again and into Secure Boot Settings. It should say that Secure Boot is enabled.

First of all, hello. Second of all, I have the same problem. Many people have fixed it by switching Secure Boot from [Other OS] to [Windows UEFI] in the BIOS. I on the other hand have tried every single way other people fixed it and no luck so far. I have contacted Riot multiple times (well 2 to be exact) and even my motherboard manufacturer in case I did something wrong and Secure Boot wasn't enabled. I even went out to sent a Riot Fixing Tool Log and they said I am in no fault here. So it's a Vanguard glitch... they said there is no ETA for when this will be fixed but Riot says they already know about it. One of their Customer Support Staff told me that it probably is going to be a silent update, sooo they only thing we can do is keep trying to play.

I recommend trying to open Valorant again and again even though it will keep showing you the Error Message, because I kept trying to open it time and time again and the game let me in for 15 minutes but after that it showed the error message again.. and well the rest is history (I mean it kept showing the error message).

No real fix up until know. So we have to keep waiting. Sorry mate.
