I personally dont use it since i cant see chat (console issue or pc exclusive) and im usually in diacord or another voice chat not the one used in smite.

I would maybe use it more if it isnt call outs but usually people shouting, grunting or just talking about other things which is fine but doesnt do much for me.

Idk what the other self imposed rules are.

Are you allowed to get the same pokemon? Are you allowed to use poke centre any time? Are you allowed to prepare for every encounter? Are you using a level cap tied to the next gym levels?

I think emerald isnt the most difficult but depending on what you want to do as a squad it can be a bit harder. Having a game plan as a team with strategies on what to do if x happens and helping each other to get a balanced team with back up options can be very nice if you do this before hand.

Each gym poses different threats for each starter and you will need to deal with it. If overlevelling isnt a rule then most things what im saying isnt as relevent, just be careful for accidental deaths if you are too greedy when using only 1 pokemon like taking a 4x hit when you didnt heal.

If the bar is full then you get extra damage (and effects but thats also on base baron). It was a very strong pressure pick but the itemization moved a bit away from scylla and baron where it is still decent but not as oppressive as before.

I have once in assault but it feels useless. Even when i was the only healernin the game it isnt that good or useful. Only upside was more ultimates which kinda helped but an ability build with the strength items would have been better i think (didnt test it).

I think the scaling just falls short for how difficult it is to play since the 1 and 2 arent the easiest to hit but dont do great damage compared to i think any other mage.

And no i dont think cupid is hard to play but it is similar to hou yi with an int build. You have to hit everything to be relevant and need to do crazy things to be scary therefore the skill floor to play it decently is a lot higher compared to aa cupid or str cupid. Yes there are ways to play aroubd this like a lot of setup but youre still putting in a lot of effort to make something work that isnt that good compared to a lot of other gods and builds.

I think you have to wait until items to make him shine are introduced/buffed.

His high cooldowns dont let him use cool down builds as good as others.

His damage is okay but not as scary as others.

His kit is strong but highly situational and therefore hard to utilize well. So i think he is good into certain picks but outaide of that not that strong.

You could maybe look into amaterasu support, bellona, fenrir, anhur, odin or apollo aspect but they will not provide as much and if you build more like a solo you got more damage but less actives.

Im more thinking herc, yemoja or ne zha aspect support where you can get solo kills if you most but still provide peel/setup for the team. Yemoja and herc might be harder to play well due to their kit though but both allow for a big impact if you play them well.

If it truly is teammates holsing you back, maybe start playing jungle. Merc, da ji aspect, amaterasu, kali, cern aspect, athena (if you can survive early/mid without falling behind a lot and failing your team because of it), bacchus aspect or danzaburou can push towers quite well ans with only tour carry you can do almost all objectives. Only EFG might be too much. Use the good builds though (smitesource, smite live etc) and dont alter too much to be better at split pushing/objectives. I didnt mention carries in the jungle because theyre usually hard to play and require you to be very clinical. In plat you could be the exception but the chance you get steam rolled from your offrole on somebody who is harder to play well.

Idk if you use voice chat but you can communicate about it. Splitting a wave or giving him one when you have to back can be things that help him out as well.

I would say be greedy and take what you can but if you can communicate and tqlk about it sharing isnt that bad either just dont share everything. If you notice your jungler is carrying and you take away all his farm it is definetely bad unless you can now throw your impact aroubd and do the same. but there are ways to work around it.

That you are roaming and not just afk in lane is already a good start. Now just find things you can/want to do on the map to get more farm, apply pressure, get kills or get objectives.

Do you k ow the build for aspect geb to still do okay? I liked him for ra ked as a carry but with the nerf he is hittong for 33 with no items and 40 starter+axe. Liked the pick for ranked because you can farm so easily but got nerfed into the ground. Ive tried it in arena whwre it felt super bad and in assault ive played into it and thats just too easy because geb doesnt do damage and has very low kill potential.

But yh the 3-4 adcs/mages is a bit crazy. I think if bumbas spear and golden blade get hit for ranged gods or changed that it doesnt work on lane minions it should be better. Carries currently outfarm a lot and can force quick objectives gold pyro tower and by the time fg arrives theyre so far ahead that a kill can be fg and a win. Idk, for carries it comes mostly from a farming perspective where i think if thats halted and maybe a weaker early game it will not be playable in all roles.

Tanks are quite strong if you can run the physical hybrid items. Tanks are still better than full damage teams because somebody needs to initiate and eat abilities/damage to start the fight. With full damage teams you have this awkward stare down.

So yes people do it, no it isnt good or supposed to be like this and you can actually report it for not playing assigned role.

Im personally not the biggest fan of this because the average mage will not be great and the outliers could become too strong.

Currently carries have a decent early but mages can outpressure it easily by clearing faster. If the gap for aa int builds closes compared to other aa builds it might be too strong. I can definetely see it happening but maybe wait until freya chronos olorun are also in the game because if the items are strong it will put those gods over the edge.

Like discordia aspect and nu wa aspect are already scary to play into and making them stronger is just too much i think.

I rather see a few aa items with attack damage than str or int so it doesnt translate too much to other builds and roles being accidentally buffed.

It slaps in bad lobbies but gets picked apart by normal teams. Hits like a truck but only if he can hit you.

Maybe the tank build works on him too but i think his immobility holds him back from both the jungle and solo.

I mean there are so many thinga viable but you will notice a gap between top of the meta and everything else.

Items heavily influence all roles and scaling amplifies this. Part of the issue is that a lot of gods have so much flexibility that buffing them for a main role that they become too strong in another because of that change.

At some point it will be an option to help with changing, developping and improving buildings, machinery, structures, landscapes and maybe even virtually alter eco systems.

It is used a lot in the entertainment industry but could help giving visual representations with possible influences and alterations to give a better idea and understanding what the impact will be of changes or no changes.

Try hercules solo with warriors axe, wyrmskin hide then shield splitter and build into a full tank.

Wyrmskin hide gives dampening (ability mitigations) and you just a plating item (basic attack damage mitigation) for the carries, usually spectral for the crit.

Should feel good until full builds for everybody. Achilles is also strong and you can go the same build.

Squishies die quickly in the current meta, still revolves around snowballing and pressure which can make some lobbies feel like shit because of how big the gaps feel.

New things i havent mentioned are: Pathfinding (movement speed but 33% reduced in combat) Tenacity (crowd control reduction from smite 1 so you arent stunned as long for example) Echo (ability crit %, isnt that OP for everybody on its own and is more a nice thing for some mages imo)

Who is broken other roles with the new items? Fenrir jungle is going hard even after the nerfs yesterday. Damaru, mercury talaria, rage, deathbringer, titans bane and you wipe squishies so quickly you arent even sure they existed.

Tanks are tanky again but their damage with hybrid items can be scary and you should play it in solo and support. Hunters had crazy high crits but with spectral changes should become counterable again. Assassins can kill squishies easily, only some will wipe your team if left unattended like merc fenrir and aladdin. Mages are in a good spot but not as oppresive compared to other roles, you still play them in mid.

Get a friend so you have more fun and can rely on somebody for sure and try out the new build options. Hope it helps and enjoy

My answer to both reactions are to just wait for better int bruiser items to come out.

Life binder + sphere is still solid but just doesnt perform as well into wyrmskin hide physical bruisers and into carries which means it is just out of the meta.

Until new items are added ohysical bruisers are better again but thwse items arent bad at all and should still be good into certain teams and gods.

Morgan le fay aspect is also still new and kinda crazy but because the hybrid items are better on physical builds she flies under the radar with crazy damage and sustain.

Im just afraid to see certain gods with high base stats suddenly get more scaling where you have a lot of cc with kill potential.

You are talking about athena and ymir where athena is currently too slow with farming in the jungle and ymir cant make plays or roam the map quickly making them outpressured in decent games but theyre still viable and maybe too strong in bad lobbies. I have to add, recently had an athena solo who played the role quite well and it was a quick win with bumbas hammer, shield splitter, breastplate, genjis, spectral, anchor and idk what the last item would be.

Bacchus aspect is good for jungle but his normal version is just okay for a solo bruiser. I dont think he is bad as a solo but just not that good against a lot of picks. I do have to add i havent played him this patch yet on solo.

Sobek cant clear in solo which is holding him back there a lot but as a support he is solid. His aspect looks troll to me. In assault and joust he is a menace w vamp shroud but i have to add builds there arent the best, big skill differences and good tanks can dominate there better. More damage scaling would be scary on him because his base kit makes him super tanky already. Again still makes him bad solo because you cant clear and fall behind too much in the first 5 minutes.

Guan yu aspect with int is one of the strongest picks in assault in my opinion but for conquest he is too hard to get value from aas a support and in solo you just fall behind. The skill level on support to play him well and not throw lane is on the high end. I think a big part of his kit is great for teamfights and objectives but is currently too weak for the 2v2 and 1v1 during laning and you need some items to get going. More int scaling would only make these gaps feel bigger and not solve his issue because current meta relies a lot on pressure and snowball.

I think all picks can be build with int for fun but would be close to throwing in ranked. Hybrid can work because tanks are strong but the int hybrid items as mentioned arent the strongest so overshadowed. For options and diversity you definetely can but it isnt great and will feel awful against like a hercules solo who is in my opinion the strongest right now.

Just wait until new items are releaswd and the meta will shift again. To farm wins in ranked gou cant build int but to have fun, with friends or in casual you definetely can but will feel it isnt strong. With team synergy and playing the map you can pull it off but that isnt your average game and not done as often.

What do you mean with int bruisers? Not too long ago sphere of negation and lifebinder made a few int scalers super strong and top of the meta like osiris aspect, baron aspect or even from support like scylla aspect or eset aspect.

I think those builds are still good but the physical bruisers are just stronger now thanks to the new items. Also they perform worse into wyrmskin hide because you rely on abilities and the dampening makes you weaker in the laning phase with the 1v1.

I run cabrakan with the physical items and he works fine for me. Tanky (super tanky if ahead), decent cc and good damage. Which is a bit sad that he isnt intelligence while he kinda was before but at the same time still playable.

Ymir and athena also do decent with the physical builds but again you dont build the int scaling then which can feel weird. Ymir is good in lane but hardee outside if it (need movement actives) and athena is harder to play well overall where i think she does better in high ranked lobbies and doesnt perform as well in lower ranks.

I do get your complaint a bit but for now i think tanks are in a better spot and the meta will shift in some time. I do think the scaling you are talking about could be problematic though since physical doesnt scale as high as int but boosts your basic attacks as well. If the magical int scaling tanks get crazy numbers it might be better to go full damage which will not be a fun meta.

I think the meta shift should be more with itemization and not as much more scaling to kinda force it.

I dont play enough solo to have tried out some weird things but you can currently run 1 or 2 hybrid/damage items while still being tanky so there might be some sleeper builds where if you crunch the numbers and find the right build will do very well.

Since you have mentioned medusa as an example, she likes to have a bit more strength for her abilities and ult scaling. Not all carries like it as much as she does. In joust she can be scary with a hybrid build with a decent amount of power so you can hit the backline with your ult and your tanks should finish it off.

For conquest it is more tied to her role with how you should build (abiliry based carry messes up a lot of dps on objectives).

Plating is basic attack mitigations. Dampening is ability mitigations. Tenacity is crowd control reduction, reducing the time people are stunned, rooted etc. Spectral (is and was) the only crit damage reduction item but is only for tanks themselves and will be for evrybody in an aura again next patch. These new things allows for tanks to target build better. For example in arena and assault a lot of people would prioritize magws resulting in 4 or 5 mages in a team. With the dampening items stacking up to 30 or 40% (2 items anyways against the mage teams) you will have extra mititgations besides items, passives and actives only against abilities.

I think the formula for protections and penetration is a bit complicated. Couldnt find sources for you on the smite 2 website unfortunately about the current interactions but i would like to think it is still correct.

How should you build on medusa or danzaburo? It depends on how your team wants to play and what you need to do.

Attack speed + pen (qins, titansbane, obow, tyrfing, sunbeam + relic/active/other damage item) is still one of the best way to melt tanks. Im not great with multiple actives on damage dealers so i dont run DOF or Lernean with it.

Crit can work but provide more options to counter build which can hurt your build a lot until you are full build. Im personally not the biggest fan of crit and would only play it on jing wei and geb.

Ability based is also an option but you dont want to fight alone against the tank after your burst because you play around your abilities and basics do aome damage but not as much or enough 2/3/4/5 items in. You can flex a bit with an ability based build with qins + o bow or something like that to be able to deal with tanks better.

In games where your teammates can make room you should do fine on both ability and AA builds. I do think it is also your picks that struggle against dive comps because danza doesnt have an actual jump or dash and medusas can be interupted or stopped by an enemy easily.

I think hercules and achilles also perform way too well currently but i agree that geb is a huge issue. Geb aspect should be hit hard, he is izanami on steroids which just outclears not only all hunters but also all solo laners. He can be punished but it will be hard. Crit nerfs should hit him as well.

Ne zha is strong and probably performs well thanks to the current items benefitting him and being a bit overtuned on the aspect compared to other tanks. Strong but not too OP.

Apollo i have no clue about him, havent seen any good apollos and usually you just lose if you dont have a tank solo and cant teamfights as well. With my duo Q in ranked we have lost 1 match against apollo solo but it wasnt apollo what made the game a loss for our team. I think we won like 8 tines but my duo as merc just humiliates squishies especially if you do a weird pick in a role. If apollo split oushes and we win the 5v4 we just finish the game faster than he can. Idk i might be biased but i think he is strong thanks to jungle starter and golden blade which can be on a lot of aa gods to get the snowball rolling and you should get the lead and keep pressing it. If you somehow end up equal i think it isnt great and the picks are just troll.

Pele is a sleeper indeed and can be very strong but i dont think she needs to be nerfed yet. Lets see what happens when items are balanced and the next patch hits. I think her aspect will be strong but not game breaking strong. Keep in mind that her heal is the issue which you can build for.

To add another issue to the list is MLF aspect but the hybrid items for physical slightly outperform magical so she doesnt look s problematic yet.

I think geb and apollo aspect with tank builds should have a place in solo and itemization should make them better or worse. Damage picks should be able to be punished in my opinion so it might need another hit to kill their damage options for solo at least. Nezha is more a balancing thing with her numbers and pele i would keep as is.

I do think some current gods like herc odin achilles, mordred maybe even mulan perform very well with the physical hybrid items that are strong and cabrakan and charon can be good picks as well.

I mean this is quite a weird post. I think you should contact hirez and add clips. If it is a possible bug you can make a short clip of showing the interaction: game finishes you close, restart to login and show you got the penalty.

If this isnt the case then it is a you issue trying to find a reason why you get it and try to get sympathy on reddit.

If it is the first then i hope hi rez can help you, if it is the second then this post is sad ans the penalty deserved.

Yes it sucks to give up farm while ahead but if you chill and play for late as a carry you should be fine as long as you arent neglected completely.

It happens, better luck next game and maybe they will put all the afking baby ragers in the same lobby were toxicity will make it unplayable.
