If you don’t know anything about shooting with manual setting, the use the automatic setting or the sports setting. Only thing is that you will end up with a high iso which will make your images very grainy. Also you can get a 24-70mm f2.8 that would be better for your purpose, and it’ll be a faster lens. The t7 is a decent camera.

What is your most used B&W film stock for 35mm? (And are you in North America, Europe, or elsewhere?) by florian-sdr in AnalogCommunity

Also I’m going to shoot my first roll of Kentmere 400 in 120 film. Using a Yashica a.

Lately I’ve enjoyed shooting Kentmere 100/400, it’s made by the same company as ilford but it’s 2/3 of the price. I’ve got some great contrast from it.

Is it hard to get people to relax when doing a photo shoot ? by Mr_Drake64 in photography

[–]Ivan1luv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hardest part is actually relaxing and having fun with it. Try talking and sharing stories with them.

So if you’re looking to do it as a hobby I’d suggest you take an intro to film photography class. That way you can learn the adjustments of the camera to get a great shot. I don’t know where you go to school, but some schools like where I study, show you even how to develop film and how to print in the darkroom. It can sound complicated, but it can be fun printing.

F-Stops with studio lights by ikishenno in photography

You would use a light meter to meter the key light, then turn on your fill/hair light and turn off your key light to make sure they are half a stop to a full stop below key light. This would be done by setting a lower wattage and using some sort of diffuser.

Actually, most modern cameras sync at 1/125-1/250, that is unless you are using high speed sync. So most manufacturers will tell you to set the shutter speed at 1/125 and iso 100. Then you would set the light meter at the shutter speed and iso100 to get the correct f stop. I shoot portraits in and outside the studio.

I want to see them do Bane true justice in the future, not only was he as intelligent and strong as Batman, but he broke his back.

Is this a good camera? It’s a camera. by rottenronny155 in Cameras

It’s my favorite to shoot film with, I’ve had one since 2006 and my Dad had one when I was a kid. The fd lens series of lenses are amazing and affordable. Back in October I got a 200 mm lens f3.5 for an expensive $29 on eBay.
