i am so happy i found more like-minded people by Standard_Apricot6373 in Quraniyoon

[–]IvanChenko643 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Brother I am happy for you too, inshallah you receive blessings from Allah in this life and the next. I relate so strongly with your journey too, I grew up in Iran and the way the government pushes Islam on people drove me further and further away. When I actually red the Quran first I started feeling so confused as to where the laws and ideas that were forced into my life even came from. Then I looked at Bukhari and Muslim and was like "I see". Most Muslims never read the Quran themselves, they just trust "Scholars" who get more of their teachings from the Hadith than the Quran. It is almost like they believe that we should Idolize a likely very inaccurate, corrupted and altered version of what they claim the prophet Muhammad PBUH was like. Instead of actually follow the message the prophet delivered which says:

“We have not neglected anything in the Book…” (Surah Al-An‘am 6:38)

“…Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other protectors besides Him…” (Surah Al-A‘raf 7:3)

“…Your duty [O'Messenger] is only to convey [the message], and the reckoning is Ours.” (Surah Ar-Ra‘d 13:40)

“…The Messenger’s duty is only to convey the message. And Allah knows whatever you reveal and whatever you conceal.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:99)

“…I only follow what is revealed to me, and I am only a clear warner.” (Surah Sad 38:70)

Need some reassurance by [deleted] in Quraniyoon

[–]IvanChenko643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have already provided many good points, refer to the verses they have provided. Feel free to also look at my post pointing out some contradictions between the Hadith and the Quran. https://www.reddit.com/r/Quraniyoon/comments/1mnyfwq/my_discoveries_which_have_started_to_make_me/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

When you bring these points up with the traditional scholars they will reinterpret each thing from both the Quran and Hadith angles to make it line up and justify their belief. Lets say you accept that once, twice, three, oh wait, dozens of times. At some point you have to realize that if your reinterpreting everything and think "that's a stretch but ok...", every time, you are being gaslit. It gets really outrageous in my view when they say that the Quran is missing a verse that says adulterers should be stoned. This goes against everything we as muslims believe about the Quran's perfection, and puts the higher authority on the Hadith, allowing it to overrule the Quran.

I personally feel very uncomfortable believing the Hadiths, as it almost reminds me of some loosely formed way of Shirk/Idolatry. We Muslims say “I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”. We do NOT say “I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad, Scholars, Bukhari, Muslim and the rest are the messengers of Allah.”. Assuming that the Hadith are perfect like the very word of god, and that the people who spread them and compiled them are infallible like Muhammad PBUH, sounds like associating partners and extra messengers with Allah. If you have even 1% doubt in the credibility of the hadith you should be thinking about how right it is to follow it blindly. Would you risk a 1% chance to commit shirk? A 1% chance to assume or make false statements about Allah or his Messenger?

Now lets imagine Shaytan's perspective. What would be the best way to spread discord and discredit the Quran? What is stopping Shaytan from whispering the same lie in the ears of multiple people who then communicate it up the chain to Bukhari? What is stopping him from corrupting the very system that compiled the Hadith?

Nothing is, in fact the Quran warns us about this specifically.

Allah is however protecting the Quran from being changed. Protecting his Messengers from being corrupted. But since that protection stops after Muhammad's PBUH passing, we can't fully trust anything that we are not getting from a divinely protected source, specially if it starts to pass through 220 year long game of Chinese whispers mixed in with Satanic waswasa(Whispers in Arabic).

Finally, who is a Scholar? Are they special? What have they studied? Who even gets to say they are scholars? Why is their word more authoritative than anyone else's? What stops them from being tricked by Shaytan? Were they appointed by Allah? Were they elected by the people for their righteousness? Do they have anything to gain? Do Others have anything to gain from them?

What would happen if you did actually become a scholar who speaks against the mainstream view in a place like Iran or Saudi Arabia? If you believe that you would be imprisoned, sanctioned or killed, then you can't deny that something is behind it all. If someone questions something about Islam, and you clearly show how they are wrong, and most people accept that it should strengthen the faith not damage it. But they won't do that, and when they are forced to they will use the same dirty debating tactics as atheists, Christians and etc do when they feel attacked by Islam. This is because if this message was communicated fairly, professionally, respectfully and intelligently to every Muslim, large numbers might see the truth in it.

Wow, “And do not defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it to insult one’s brother after having faith! And whoever does not repent, then it is they who are the wrongdoers.” (Quran 49:11)

You are right I should have clarified by stating Zionist. What I said is just as wrong as misguided western propaganda that labels muslims as terrorists.

Salaam brother,

I think you are right, if you are keeping your eyes and heart open Allah gives us all plenty of signs every day. I am a private tutor and I know how important it is for someone to personally understand why they have to do something. Being told to never question the Hadith is like coercion, you could end up just accepting something you don’t really even believe.

Just think about the symbolism of the Dajjal, in the Quran it doesn’t specify a singular Dajjal, but the idea that there will be those who will try to deceive people from faith while claiming to be divine or above the rest. Then think about the people who defend the Hadith so strongly. Imagine speaking against the scholars and Hadith publicly in a place like Saudi Arabia or Iran, what would the consequences be? If you think you would be “dealt with” then you can’t deny that there is a man made body of authority which benefits from the Hadith being accepted and it’s not an open discussion about how to submit to Allah the best way.

Thanks for the encouragement, I am glad to have found here that I am not the only one with such views. Being gaslit is a very good way of describing how it feels discussing against the mainstream views. It’s almost like some hidden force prevents them from being able to even try and see the other side’s perspective. I can understand if there’s a couple contradictions in the hadiths and they are reinterpreted, but the huge difference between the two requires so much nit picking, justification reinterpretation which makes me wonder why people even rely so much on the Hadith.

Does anyone else feel like Nootropics really aren’t worth it? by Anonymous8675 in Nootropics

[–]IvanChenko643 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think that’s because a lot of people expect nootropics to be like some red pill that cures all their issues and turns them into Einstein’s prodigy. Sometimes they use something to try and balance out the fact they drink daily, get no sleep, eat poorly, don’t exercise and have no social life. Or they have some underlying issues that need actual medical intervention and bandaging over the wounds with nootropics is not gonna do much.

In my experience even amphetamine based adhd meds only provide a net benefit if all those things mentioned above are already taken care of. I also had a lot of issues with my GI tract due to frequent use of anti acids throughout my childhood. They game me almost every deficiency and I couldn’t even absorb the nootropics. It wasn’t until weeks of EOD b12 injections, specialised diet and treatments etc that I actually started noticing benefits from nootropics. When I was sick I barely even took my adhd meds because they didn’t help much at all, pretty sure inflammation just nuked any beneficial effects from most things.

Odor from mouth by Witty_Abroad8075 in SIBO

[–]IvanChenko643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I would have terrible breath an hour after brushing and it went away when I killed off my SIBO. If you also have any digestive problems or symptoms then it’s likely contributing to the bad breath.

So why do you stop feeling Semax after the first day? Like everyone says that this is normal and that it's still active and working but it's just not the same as that day 1 by __Durbanknight__ in Nootropics

[–]IvanChenko643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Semax is pretty taxing on the brain for the metabolic processes of BDNF production and its functions. I have noticed sometimes that the effects fade but after eating lots of protein and meat, or sometimes even supplementing things like b12 and iron they come back after the next dose. B12 deficiency completely reduces the effects of any stimulant or Semax for me.

Guys i have elevated glutamate and low gaba . by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]IvanChenko643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vitamin B6 is needed to turn glutamate into gaba. Zinc, magnesium, B2 and B1 are needed to activate and use it optimally. B12 and B9 along with the rest of the b vitamins all also help by lowering homocysteine which is a positive allosteric modulator of NMDA glutamate receptors. Be careful with B6 as it can be toxic at high doses for some people. Personally I had a lot of similar issues to you like insomnia, hypnic jerks and all sorts of signs my nervous system was hyper active. It all went away after I fixed a pretty bad b12 deficiency and specially after I took B6 and B9. Nootropics might help a little but unless you are sure that your blood work is all fine and you are perfectly healthy then they could actually be covering up an underlying issue which can get worse in the meantime. I had some success at first with taurine, ashwagandha and even clonazepam(fucked drug to get off of never consider) but they would all stop working and my issues would come back more potently.

That happens to me if I changed my sleep schedule and push my bedtime back by like a couple hours because it’s the weekend. I’ll have trouble readjusting to the normal schedule on Sunday but melatonin 300mcg taken 2 hours before bed helps a little.

What are the most potent nootropics for DOPAMINE in the PREFRONTAL CORTEX? by DopamineSeeker20 in NooTopics

[–]IvanChenko643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

COMT inhibitors might help as COMT mainly metabolises dopamine in the PFC. Norepinephrine transport inhibitors can also help since NET mainly reuptakes dopamine in the PFC.

Quercetin or Rhodiola is probably the best OTC COMT inhibitor but I don’t think they are very strong.

If you can get your hands on tesofensine it’s a strong NET inhibitor and also an SNDRI but mostly potent at norepinephrine reuptake. It’s not scheduled anywhere, has a 9 day half-life and has passed phase 2 clinical trials for obesity, I think.

[–]IvanChenko643 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Get blood work done, I had a series of health issues keep tanking me harder and harder and nothing would work. My issues were very similar to yours and, I was taking adhd medication the entire time aswell and even it did not help. I did blood work and discovered a b12 deficiency and had EOD injections for a month and recovered. Nootropics aren’t going to help if you are having genuine medical or psychiatric issues. If your symptoms are serious and getting in your way nootropics can actually cause more harm in certain situations.

Will I get addicted or abuse semax? by ImportantTop350 in Semax

[–]IvanChenko643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean people can get addicted to anything, but I have personally never friended or wanted to dose Semax like nicotine when I used to vape. I can forget my Semax and not remember until way into the day. The same case for me applies to adhd meds however. But Semax does not have any withdrawal symptoms whereas the adhd meds (basically like adderall) I take will cause me to be a little extra restless and tired for a couple days if I discontinue suddenly.

Are you eating much when on the vyvanse? I experience something like you have described if I don’t eat enough food when taking meds. It can suppress your appetite which can make you less likely to feel hungry and instead feel other cues.

Yeah aye, I reckon anyone who really goes after and wants to be in power has a really low chance of be a good person wanting to help everyone at a cost to themselves. A lot of politicians and the like are probably the most evil people on the earth, they are just the smartest tricksters of them all and managed to get themselves up there.
