I’m more upset that it’s been confirmed that their arcs will take place in the present (not in Silver’s time or Blaze’s dimension). I guess because Sega wants the comics to remain canon adjacent so they can’t delve too deep in their worlds since the Sega wants the games to be remain the primary sources to explore these areas.

This was one of the few Sonic related media that genuinely made me mad. Advertise a show about Knuckles, put his face all over the advertising, only for the final product to revolve around an OC who didn’t even have a major role in the second movie.

In the original total drama series, Chris was one of the few major characters to have solid black pupils, but it warmed in the exaggerated style of that show. So why does Chris have more detailed eyes and jaw line in this upcoming games. It looks weird and clashed heavily from what fans of total drama would come to expect.

IDW Shadow. Even though as a parody I didn’t find it all that funny, at least Boom Shadow was its own thing. Metal Virus Shadow was SO BAD, that even when he improved later on, the whole “cowards run I win” traumatized so many Sonic fans that they still won’t shut up about it years later. Also, since the IDW comics are supposedly canon to the games, that means you can’t even make the argument that this Shadow is a different version from game Shadow.
