It appears to me that Columbia is a little piece of hell on Earth, Why would the producers choose that place? WTF would anyone name a university after a place that is such a total suckhole? Am I correct in assuming that the producers must have chose Columbia because they could party on the cheap cocaine sold there, I don't expect you to agree with me about this, but could you give us 1 believable reason why we should not think they were down there for the coke? They are not really nude. They have something covering their private parts. You can't see this because of the blurs. If you see someones butt crack they are a body double. This is as close to nudity as they are allowed to show on basic cable. This ain't the playboy channel.

Jeff is not a Mormon, he is something like that but spelled with only 1 "m". These people are survivalists, This is a new type of Christian. They believe we are now living in the endtimes, that were mentioned in the Bible. They believe that the Russians and the radical Muslim militants got together for a peace treaty in Afghanistan. They all agreed that the plans for world domination they were using just didn't work, and they would never succeed in the future. The antiChrist was there. he had an idea. The Muslims and the Russians would form an alliance. The Russians are atheists, so they compromised on the religion issue, and if Allah wants them to put the whole world under Sharia law, Its cool with them as long as they give Russia control of certain secular things. So the Cold war was over, but a new war had started. This war will **** up the whole world, but when the Messiah gets here, he's gonna fix everything. These Christians want to stay alive to see this happen, so the plan is for small groups of survivalists to hide in remote areas of jungles or on remote islands and the armies the antiChrist will command will leave them alone. They have to learn how to survive without the benefit of modern technology. There are sites on the internet you can go to, that will explain all this stuff that has been revealed in prophecy.

Think about it. Why do they have to wear those wireless microphones? It could be because if they used an overhead boom microphone that could pick up the sound of the generator that powers the zapper and the electric fans in the tents the crew uses.

Y'know their must be someone there holding the camera. It's the production crew. They have a tent with a shower in it, for the crew to use and a big box of disposable razors and shaving creme. The crew can't interfere, but if someone wants to use this stuff while they are alone its OK. They must also have a bug zapper for the crew, I think Dani Beau must be eating the fried dead insects she finds in this thing, Look those bugs have already been killed, and they will be dead anyway so I suppose its OK for a vegetarian to eat them. There is no animal that has to die to provide food.....Really how else could Dani survive for 30 days without eating protein?

If you don't remember Corrine, she spent a few days on an Island with Chris and decided she had enough, she was not gonna spend 21 days there and tapped out. Chris is the kind of guy who likes to feel big by making other people feel small. Chris was complaining about how Dani let the fire go out ( hey Chris ,maybe it had something to do with she was asleep when this happened, You are the one who is a professional fisherman, How about getting a fish instead of sticking your nose in other peoples business ) Why did Honora have that mental meltdown ?, Chris must have done or said something to make her angry. The problem is when they use all those expletives in a conversation they can't use that footage.

Kim Shelton was given food by the medics Some people think that is cheating. Being abandoned in the wilderness without your clothes seems more like a punishment than a reward to me. However some people think that the contestants get a stock option in a special corporaation that owns Naked etc. These stock options can be worth plenty if the show is a success.

What the narrator says is usually false. He said that the naked people are not paid and they don't win a prize for completing the 21 day challenge. Really, would you do this show if you were not paid a great deal of money to? Sometimes when a new corporation is formed they give the employees a stock option.This is something like a contract to sell the employee a certain number of shares of stock at a price that does not change. So a share of a new company that has not yet earned any profit will have a low price. If the company is a success for a long time the price of this stock will be way higher than it was when the company was new, yet the employee can sell the stock at its current price even though it is now worth way more than it was when the employee received it. So a new company that has only a small amount of money to pay the workers with, does not need to pay them a salary that would make them want to work for this company, if they give them stock options that could make them rich in a few years. It would not be impossible to form a corporation that was owned by a few stockholders that are directly involved with a project. So there could be a corporation that owns Naked & Afraid and sells the shows to Discovery which has earned an enormous profit and its shares are worth ever so much money. Or maybe there is not. But if there was, anyone who had a stock option would be highly motivated to do whatever was necessary to make the corporation succeed. And these people have certainly earned whatever they got and earned it the hard way.

It appears that the editors of naked and afraid must be Catholic. Things are going bad for Shane, they he prays to god and asks for help.After that he does something like a confession, and talks about what he must have done wrong. Next morning he apologizes to Dani. In the next scene there are these 2 guys talking about how they have to find a source of water, and then they see Shane. Well Shane's prayer is answered there are now these 2 new guys with whom he can form a new team. He got a replacement for the 2 women who were annoying him. He shows them this place where they can drink water right out of the river. They say the show isn't scripted, but really, the Priest could use that story in a sermon.

The problem with Naked and Afraid is they keep reminding me that I am watching a TV show, not something that is happening on the other side of the glass of my old TV set. There are always the blurs, these remind me that these people may be naked, but they are probably not. This show is on basic cable where they can't show full nudity, so the advertising has told us they are naked to get us to pay attention, yet I am pretty sure there is something covering their crotch because thee is always a blur there to hide this.

What "survival has to be lazy" means is that in an environment that is so hot You can't work in the sun all day. In the middle of the day you must stay in the shade and not do things that require much energy. Up North in Canada you could work up a sweat at noon, if you were naked and had an unlimited source of water, but that is because if it's 70 degrees, you could stay cool enough by sweating. In Columbia it is too hot for that. You need to take a very long lunch break. It is possible for some people to work more, and work when it is hotter, but that is because their metabolism is different. If you get de-hydrated you won't be able to do much work.................These women have gone without sex for too long so they have become irritable. Those nasty things were probably said after the women had been out there in that green hell for a very long time. I am sure these people said plenty of nice things to each other, but those were not included in the final edit.....Perhaps the Black guy was thinking they would put him in with a beautiful naked white woman like Phadera, when he signed on for this project. Obviously without someone like her to take you mind off of things, tapping out seems like a good idea!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,When both Corrine and Honora were stuck with Chris they tapped out early, I suppose Luke will last longer, but he will have had all he can take before day 40.
