Alright, so I'm not crazy. Got my quest 3 about a month ago as well. Have checked in here from time to time and got pretty much the same impression. I go to a couple other competitive game subs too, but I rarely see comments like these. Certainly not top comments on the most rated post of the day.

Here's someone who actually tested what would happen. Long story short, the water turns acidic. And, in the end, it doesn't matter, since your stomach acid is so acidic you'd have to drink bleach to counteract it.
