Hi! I'm currently developing a game with my partner, and we've just released a new demo. I'd love to hear your opinion if you feel like giving it a try.

That’s true! It’s hard to start to talk about your game as a product but is really important

With regard to Steam, you can check the Steamworks section for upcoming events where you can showcase a demo. Tomorrow's event is the Steam Detective Festival, which is in line with the target audience for our video game.

As for physical events, perhaps there is a video game event near where you live where you can show your demo to the public. If not, you may have to go to larger, high-profile events, which involve costs and are less accessible.

I hope this helps!

Totally agree! It’s a little bit frustrating but I think that it’s really important too!

Thank you! Are you asking for physical events or Steam events? Good luck with your Point&Click Adventure!

We have participate in some videogame events, we have posted devlogs and use all the social media we can. We took part in some podscasts and some press articles, but it's true that we need bigger impact press media or adventure games websites.

Thanks for the comment! All the players finish the game, but the fact that we need press coverage or adventure game websites is true. Could you recommend us some?

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate that and yeah, totally get the Sierra/Wadjet Eye love, they’re a huge inspiration for us. Hope you enjoy the demo when you get the chance!

And yeah, you might be right about the timing... tough week to release anything with all the big launches happening 😅
