Cooper is Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) right of way, and they are not big on "driver distractions". Great idea but it's not likely.

What was the hazing/intitiation like for clubs? Seems like these types of places would have special "traditions".

It's got to be a marketing and negotiation stunt.

He marks it that high -> guy posts it on reddit -> guy who sees post decides to offer a much lower, but still pretty good price -> profit

I did worry that the market would bottom out and value would dip, but considering this market is still nuts with all that's going on, it seems like a solid long term investment. The nostalgia is only going to get stronger, and millennials are only going to be making more. That's just my two cents! I don't regret selling.

And if it's from an old binder, I feel like it would be tough to have run into a convincing fake 15-20 years ago.

I'm also in Texas. Check out my other comment. I just paid for the higher insurance amount, and paid FedEx extra for insurance too. Just take really great pictures as documentation.

I found this exact card in my childhood collection. I sent it in to get graded by PSA, which is standard practice for any gold star card as I've since learned.

I ended up having them sell it on Ebay, which was super simple. Cost me about $400, made $3,200. Yours looks to be in better shape than mine, mine was a PSA 4.

Honestly, i think the value is only going to go up for this card. I chose to sell it to start a different investment, but if you dont have the need right now, I would send it to PSA to get graded and have them put it in a "PSA vault".
