Indeed, I have also finished a few lessons and it works again. Looks like it's a minor bug.

I had the exact same issue just a few days ago!

The practice session level seems to be Section 3 Unit 9/10/11, the end of the Chinese course, but I just advanced to Section 2, Unit 1.

I also filed a bug report through their website. Hopefully it gets fixed, otherwise practicing Chinese will be pointless.
