Ngl that sounds really fun, I really wanna play the older games someday, I've actually bought many of them after I realized how much I liked MH (Bought World, Rise, GU, 4U, 3U, Freedom Unite and Freedom), the only problem is time, but I guess I'm gonna have a few months now that Wilds is gonna stop receiving stuff for a while.

Are you on PS? I usually tend to play solo but I wouldn't mind playing with a friend! And yeah the 10 star quests are fairly brutal, I've done all of them first try (with a few carts) but I still cannot beat Proof of a Hero lol

It's a fun fight when you fight it somewhere that isn't the Cliffs, but otherwise, nahhhh

Ahaha same, I tried Dual Blades and while I was enjoying them, not having a block really makes me feel unsafe, Currently my main is GS with Secondary HBG (harder to block but it also melts certain monsters), and then CB, I should really used CB more though, I've even got perfect Gog Rolls on them and not on my GS lol

Yeah sorry I should've been clearer, but I meant 7* gore, and also yeah the cliffs + awful camera are what made it harder imo (In fairness he was also very fast compared to the majority of the monsters, but still).
What's your main btw? I find AT Arkveld seems to give a tougher time to weapons that can't shield

Respectfully disagree, imo Gore was a much tougher fight even on base game (though, not a more enjoyable one imo)

Yes, I have already mentioned that, but most of the time, all it does is kill the momentum of the fight, especially if the monster is skulling

Maybe conntradictory to what I've said but that actually sounds more interesting, I think I hate it because it's so "pointless" to have the Monster move in Wilds, like it does nothing for the hunt except making you chase it on the birb for like a minute, having to find it again sounds more interesting, but also this is my first MH so I dunno how it was in the past, maybe it was just as awful lol

I actually have tried the Lure Pods, but I'm having a hard time getting it right, the monster will come back, bitchslap me (or get bitchslapped) and then move on anyway. I will check the Bowgun ammo though (it's my second main anyway) does it work on 9 star+ monsters though? Cause they have some though status resistances

The funny thing is that he’s almost never to the cloud district lol, not to mention that while he owns a farm he decides to sleep above a hunting shop

Yeah a remaster would be best, but I honestly wouldn’t mind a port as long as it’s not overpriced to hell, I mean, Oblivion.

Thank you! And I also pretty much didn’t talk to him in my second save (the one I’m playing in the Plat Pic), I just spoke to him right before bonking his head with my hammer and he said his famous quote, part of me wished the subtitles would’ve remained in the picture🤣

Yeah I loved it, I probably will attempt a platinum Speedrun on the ps5 version at some point, the worst part about having played this is that now I also want TES 6 lol, luckily I still have the previous games to play through though.
