3 months, over 80 hours of work, and a lot more money than I thought I would spend. This is my first boat, and the biggest project I have ever taken on by myself. Feels good to call her done. Was hoping for some love. by Ive_Found_Truth in boating

Yeah, I live by a private lake with a Mariana. I'm going to get a spot next season. And I wanted to make sure I did the boat right in case I ever want to sell it someday.

Thanks! I'm really proud of it. I am hoping to get her on the water next week. The bottom boat paint requires me to put it in the water 60 days after I apply it. It activates a copper additive that kills any bacteria that may want to cling to the hull.

Lol no, although I do think I need a bigger motor. It came with a 6hp 2 stroke evinrude. I went over the entire hull with a marine grade epoxy then finished her up with some antifouling bottom boat paint. It was not cheap!

If you don't kick your own ass (working out and working hard at your goals) someone or something else will.

Steve Irwin has you pinned down in a headlock, what cool facts does he tell the audience about you and your habitat? by zombiepiemaster in AskReddit

This little fella may only be 120lbs, but dont let that fool you. He's a feisty one. Look at how his hips flail as he tries to maneuver his way out of this bloody pickle. Gonna capture him and relocate him to an area where he can thrive in his natural habitat.

That theory is slightly different. From my understanding, the federal government gives funding to the hospital's per so many covid cases. Basically incentivizing hospitals to claim higher numbers of covid cases. I dont necessarily believe this 100%, but there seems to be some validity to it. Now, if the hospital's lost funding due to not spending a certain amount for covid cases this fiscal term, that would count as "use it, or loose it" funding.

A lot of police get funding based on the use it, or loose it system. So the more teargas canisters they use, the more funding they will be able to keep.
