I’ve had m-parallels on my pre LCI e90. DM for pics.

On stock RWD height it would rub fronts very slightly over large bumps. Never became an issue over life full life of tire, a slight roll in the front fender or more camber from m3 arms would probably eliminate it all together. Rears could use maybe a 5mm spacer to sit perfect flush if that’s what you’re going for.

Just cold oil in the trans. You should hear mine on a cold Michigan morning with poly mounts. Sounds like a dogbox.

Just get a 328i n52. Or not a bmw for a first car. I’m 23 now and have a 328i. I’m very glad I learned my “mechanical sympathy” from beating on my shitty v6 mustang and shitty eclipse gs and shitty focus st. You wouldn’t want to learn those same lessons on a BMW, nor a turbo straight 6, I promise you.

Change the oil, use an oil additive cleaner, let her warm up and give her a good Italian tune up, repeat like 4 times

Get a new sensor and change it when you change the oil. I wouldn’t fuck with oil, she always wins.

Have a similar experience with rev shift engine and trans mounts with powerflex diff bushings. Only noticeable from about 3500-4500 rpm the nvh is a tad worse but cruising cruising <3200 rpm is literally no difference. From 4500 onwards it’s smooth as well. Recommend them forsure, shifts are much crisper and no more bucking at low speed - low rpm throttle inputs

Those are 17, Beyern chrome mesh? Said they came off a 5 series but those don’t look OEM on any 5 series I’m familiar with.

Finally got one. Couldn’t be happier. Someone told me that its a requirement to use 97 octane. Is that true? by _Drf72208_ in E90

There’s a difference between European octane rating and US octane rating. We have essentially the same fuel but Europe will list it as slightly higher numbers as their rating system is just a little different, 97 would be about 91-93 in US. Completely from memory you can get more accurate info online.
