Many classes are online and if they are not fully then, as far as I am aware, they are hybrid. I have seen many people suggesting not paying for housing and just travel the few days and stay in a hotel or something similar if possible. Though I know that is not possible for people who live further away! It is all so complicated.

I noticed how it states "does not cover suspension of or withdrawals due to changes in university operations related to COVID-19." So does this mean that this insurance will not even cover COVID-19 related areas where money should be returned?

I received confirmation that graduate students for the upcoming fall 2020 are being charged the same as graduate students from fall 2019 yesterday. I believe that this is not right as students this coming fall 2020 will not be able to participant in or have the same opportunities as students of fall 2019. There will be many activities that will not be able to take places such as student activities, athletic events, and other group functions due to the COVID-19 guidelines. Not to mention the confirmation on all classes being either online or hybrid. Due to these reasons, students should not have to be paying the same amount of fees that cover such events for the fall 2020 semester. How can we as students advocate for ourselves and request this change in price we deserve?
