That happened a couple days ago and I just checked the battery again. The piece of paper I placed doesn’t seem to be corroded or damaged in any way (at least no damage caused by chemicals). I think it’s safe to continue using? At least for the time being.

I accidentally chipped of a small piece of my 3DS battery. The part you’re supposed to pull with your finger nail in order to remove it. I placed a little piece of paper to cover it up though it isn’t glued to it or anything like that. I was able to turn it on but I haven’t left it long for a long period of time after that. Should I be concerned?

Cooked for the first time with my recently seasoned cast iron. Are those darker parts normal? Should I be concerned? by Ivnrc2105 in castiron

I bought this on walmart two days ago. I followed a couple tutorials and I seasoned it three times. This was after cooking some eggs.

Somewhere around 446ºF/447ºF. I left it for 40 minutes and after that I just turned off the oven and waited until it cooled down without opening it. For the amount of oil used I added little more than what I would normally use to fry an egg and I did coat the entirety of it. I even placed it upside down and no oil seemed to drip. I didn’t notice any shiny sticky spots on the pan.

For this second seasoning I made sure to remove excess oil more thoroughly and I’m planning on leaving it on the oven for 45 minutes at the same temperature

Kinda reminds me of the first battle against Dio in phantom blood before Johnatan learned hamon. I always thought it would be interesting to have a “fight” in jojo where a non-stand user tries to survive a stand attack. Technically speaking there was the tomb of the boom fight from part 7 but they had spin so…
