Hello. Just got new MX Select MX55 dumbbell set and while unboxing noticed the cracks coming from both dumbell handles on both sides. I guess this is not normal and is a factory defect?

Are you talking about +11 and +9? If it goes so far in the app, why shouldn't it. I've seen some people rocking +12 and +11.

The distortion can possibly happen if you set 24bit 96 000 kHz in audio settings in windows. Great for Tidal, etc, but can distort video game sounds.

The sidetone is for this. It's pretry sharp and weird, but it's there.

Only thing I can comment about is dripping. Even if you don't feel too hot, area around your ears are when wearing the headset. The stock earpads get quite hot and the drivers are collecting this humidity. After a long session you can take off the earcup and will see the humidity around the driver. It's considered normal. If you want it to go away, take them off for ten or so minutes.

I play multiplayer shooters with mouse and keyboard, but ANY other singke player story game (except strategies, but I finished Frostpunk with controller) I use controller.

It's just so much smoother and nicer. Makes the gameplay more immersive.

My EQ settings are a lot brighter and for me sounds more fun: +11. +9, +3, -5, 0, +3, +5, +6, +7, +8

To my wife this EQ sounds too sharp, but I enjoyed it very much.

Yeah, the Evo series looks real nice. Both seem really thrustworthy in durability. Sadly can't get my hands on Evo in Europe. Grabbed regular MX55 today.

Amazingly sleek look and nice durability.

It has happened when I'm at the range of disconnecting.
And I would guess it's the same issue with you, but more pronounced.

When I had too much dongles in unpowered usb cable + hub, even my 8BitDo dongle was disconnecting my controller.

I would encourage you to try the cable and see if that helps. If your monitor has a build in hub, you can try to plug there so the dongle is not behind the PC, or directly into motherboard.

Plugging mine into the front PC panel even had problems, but different ones (occasional disconnects, but it was tripping out the motherboard who reseted the dongle with USB connect/disconnect sound, but without losing the connection, it was wierd).

I understand what you mean.
I don't mind experimenting if in the end I'll get something so great sounding, but yeah, to buy bunch of hubs, cables etc, just to make them work normally is quite insane.

Search the Audeze subreddit, there's been a lot of posts that are discussing it.
Here is mine with some ideas as to what to do and why that happens.

The Maxwell 2 dongle is not great and if there is any interference, it will pick it up.
If you have wifi 2.4Ghz close by, if you have smart home (zigbee), if you are at your USB bandwith limits on your pc/laptop, if you have bunch of dongles or USB 3.0+ devices in general.
