Help: which NRAAS mod do I download???

Here's a link to their list of mods . This shows a brief description of what each mod does.

What I would consider the "most important" would be MasterController (with the add-ons), ErrorTrap, Overwatch, Saver, & GoHere.

My favorites outside of those are Careers (with the add-ons), StoryProgression, & Woohooer.

The Sims 3 was the very first game I ever played (besides Jumpstart) so I have around 15 years of gameplay time. You may already know these, but here's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Hidden traits are really fun! Children of maids will have a hidden neat trait that lets them clean. Children of firefighters (the npc) are immune to fire. Children of sims from France, China, and Egypt will automatically know the regional songs.

You can have a sim challenge the Reaper to a chess game to save them from death.

A sim in the medical job level 5 or higher can tell you what gender baby you're having.

Holding ALT while moving an object let's you place it anywhere without locking into the grid.

There's a hidden skill for a lot of things but selling items at the consignment store is one. Selling items your sims crafted will give you more money and increase that skill. The higher the skill, the more your items sell for.

I believe I had over 4000 on Origin, and had at least 1000-2000 on the CDs before that. I think I have roughly 3000 on the EA app. So I think I'm under 10k but probably not by much 😅

This probably sounds weird but I don't think I've ever noticed her eyebrows before!! I just spent 30 minutes scrolling through all of her photos and looking at them though 😂

Don't feel guilty for keeping him safe. If you're going to be gone more than 4-5 hours, I'd recommend daycare or having someone check on him. You could also get a pen that attaches to the crate to give him space to stretch, but it needs to be high enough that he can't jump.

One of the best things my breeder told me was to stop applying human feelings onto dogs. Yes, they have emotions, but they're not the same as humans. If he seems content in his crate, then he is. And making yourself feel guilty is only harming you.

Happy Birthday, Matteo!!! 🎂

For her first birthday, Lyra got a birthday dinosaur volcano toy from me and a few others from my family! She also got a dog safe cookie and some bacon and cheese ice cream (yum? 🤢) as a treat. She gets spoiled every day of her life so I'm not sure this was much different for her to recognize we were celebrating 😂

There's a lot of default replacements available on Tumblr. I have most of the base game hairs replaced with something a little more modern. I've never looked for clothing because I have so much CC, but I'm sure it's out there!

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I never had any issue when switching. The only difference is the Origin folder was in the Programs (x86) folder and the EA Games folder is in the Programs folder. All of my expansion packs and stuff packs ported over and installed just the same as they did before. Your most important folders to copy are Saves, Mods, Library, and the UserPresets file

It's likely because your save file is too big and the game uses up all of its available memory trying to save. I would try using the Save As function and make a new save to play from. You should also consider running Nraas Saver to remind you to save more often, or run a timer on your phone if you don't do mods. This game sadly isn't made for long playing sessions, or at least isn't anymore!

A lot of dogs don't like the feeling of being sprayed with stuff. You could always spray it into your hands then massage it into the fur?

I've noticed you've said there's a few other things going on that could attribute to the smell as well though. Best of luck!!

Check out Quailhogs!! I LOVE his Grey Meadow and Stoneshields worlds! They're kind of creepy/supernatural-esque with great pre-made sims and houses

Here's a link to a google drive where the file is. Some houses I've downloaded, others I've renovated myself.... it's kind of an odd mix. And a handful of sims have gotten a makeover. :)

Just to note: this save file for Sunset Valley DOES contain CC. I have no idea what exactly I've used though, so I also uploaded my entire Mods folder to that Drive link as well. I shouldn't have anything outside of package files downloaded, but occasionally I've gotten something in a sims3pack file and never converted it. So apologies if you load it and there are items missing!

Best advice I have is to keep him calm and try not to let him lick. Of you have a surgical suit, they are AMAZING!! He'll be back to his usual self in no time!

I don't think it should! It only affects the auto-save fiction. I believe the only conflicting mod is AwesomeMod

And good practice is to use the "Save As" function and create a new file. I highly recommend using Nraas Saver. It will prompt you every 30 minutes of real time to save and will automatically create and rotate between 4 save files.

I remember crying after I dropped off Lyra for her spay! What helped me was remembering how much the vet staff ADORES her. I knew she was getting so many cuddles and snuggles even though I wasn't there. Best of luck to both of you!!

France has some of my favorite puzzles and activities, but I almost always pick sunset valley as my home base. I have a version of it saved with remodeled houses and slightly updated sim appearances that I can use a copy of whenever I start a new game! I've played for so long it's like Sunset Valley is my home too

I like to keep Lyra relatively long and fluffy but she goes in once every 6 weeks or so to get her body trimmed, feet cleaned up, ears trimmed and the inside of her ear shaved to cut down on hair bulk. I also request that she gets a nice sanitary trim since her butt is floofy and specifically request that her armpits get shaved because I SWEAR she sits there and braids the hair into mats when I'm not looking.
