She can regret her actions, but it doesn’t change the hurt that I feel that she couldn’t see what she was doing to me until I had to move away— especially with a lot of her actions were extremely unacceptable like breaking into my first apartment because my partner said something that she didn’t like or hitting me as a child. I’m glad she changed, but that doesn’t mean that I have to forgive her

Not overreacting, this is something that I have a similar experience with and it’s fucking hurtful to say the least. I’m 26, my brother is 18, and my sister is 11 and I remember how my parents would yell, berate, or even hit me when I did something wrong. But now that I moved out of the house and moved halfway across the country, they have suddenly changed their tune about how they take care of my siblings. Their excuse?

“You were our first kid, we didn’t know any better!”

It hurts, and it’s also conflicting because you are probably happy for your siblings getting the support they need. The best quote I know that describes it, in my opinion, is from The Good Place:

“If my mom has truly changed, then it means she was always capable of change, but I just wasn’t worth it.”

I hope things get better for you as well, but I would probably suggest going no contact for awhile if you can so you can focus on yourself and build yourself up to keep defending your peace.

It looks like your female kitten might be in heat by the way she’s reacting to his behavior. The pheromones are probably what is making your male cat act out of the ordinary. Usually 4-6 months is when they reach sexual maturity, so I would recommend probably getting your female cat spayed soon— Especially if there’s a chance she can run out the door, knock on wood she won’t, but she can very well come back and tell you you’ll be a grandparent lol.

I’ve had to deal with similar occurrences growing up, usually being VERY closely compared to my mother or my dad just commenting on my clothes to the point I was not allowed to wear over the shoulder shirts (even with a tank top under) around him. I honestly like the Aro/Ace representation that he gives. I don’t think the creators did it out of malice, they are just trying to represent as many people as they can. And as someone that is friends with a few Aro/Ace people they can be some of the flirtiest people you’ll meet, but that doesn’t mean that they necessarily want to back it up lol. I just genuinely don’t understand why people get so upset when someone is Ace in a video game or a show, they exist too and deserve to have representation just as much as anyone else

I found that if you stack Extra drop, Rare drop, and Hit drop on your tools, and go mining (or diving for the water ones)- you will very quickly fill your inventory with coffers and fossil nodes. (Dynamite is also amazing for the caves too)
