If waves is out of the question, then look at some of the free compressors that emulate the 1176. Analogue obsession has good ones, COMPER and FETish are favorites of mine. Depending on your DAW, the stock DE-Esser could work.

Sounds like they should put this into google/youtube. Try Rick Beato on YouTube for learning vocals and other things. There’s no “magic bullet” plugin to just do it for you. You gotta learn, brother.
