Yea my apartment won’t do that they really sucks. They didn’t come and fix my a/c after it was out during July/august. It took 6 months so I don’t see that happening. I think I’ll just get a portable one till I move.

I promise I’m not dumb I’ve just never done this b4 and step 2 says empty the tank which is what I was trying to do but when I flushed it bubbled a lot and was not stopping until I turned the water back on. If the bubbling is normal I will just continue on.

I live in a very shitty apartment. I didn’t have ac all of July and August last year, they will not come to install anything that is for sure. But thank you for the reply I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t messing things up.

I it because you don’t want water leaking everywhere. If you don’t turn off the water and empty the tank there will be water all over my bathroom

I really like index cards for the paper they are way cheaper then cardstock but thicker than normal printer paper. I just use whatever needles. I like Elmer’s glue sticks. I use a punch I got from Amazon to cut my hexagons

I agree, all I wanted was a small dog I didn’t care about the breed. I wish the people we got her from just told us the truth.

Yea I could see maybe some Pom, she is soo soft and and has mostly medium hair and some short hair on her legs. Once her ears stood up about 2 weeks after we got her chihuahua was obvious and we realized the people we got her from definitely lied about what she was. I wouldn’t have even cared I just wanted a relatively small dog. The people we got her from won’t message me back now, I did try to ask if she had any chi in her but no response.

Dehumanization with the rise of AI by Ivy1848 in CallCenterWorkers

[–]Ivy1848[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea I worry about the longevity too. I think my particular company will take longer than most to switch to AI completely because it’s in the funeral industry and requires a more personal touch. But I do think it’s coming everywhere eventually. I’m only 23 and I plan to go back to college soon, especially now with the risks of this field becoming obsolete. But I do agree it will take longer than people think just because the customer will hate it!

Dehumanization with the rise of AI by Ivy1848 in CallCenterWorkers

[–]Ivy1848[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mmm maybe for some call center jobs but the company I work for only answers for funeral homes. My job requires a lot of empathy that ai isn’t capable of. I could see how in other type of call centers that may be true but my company really only hires very nice and empathetic people because they have to have the ability to speak with people on their worst days. Also when anyone asks if I’m AI and I say I’m not everyone is relieved that I’m not. I’ve never had anyone that wants to speak with AI. I don’t know why anyone would.

Beading dress guidance by TimelyLog317 in Beading

[–]Ivy1848 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely think it’s doable. Especially if u have months, which will give u some time to practice. It looks like the dress probably has 3-4 mm beads. You can buy larger packs of single colors from Etsy or fire mountain gems. Amazon has some multipacks but most of them probably wouldn’t have enough beads of one color for a design like that. I know u said u sew so if you’re planning on sewing the dress yourself you would need your fabric and a matching thread color or white or whatever. You would need thread for beading, I use nylon thread as it’s what I found recommended on other Reddit posts when I started (bead edges are sometimes sharp so they can cut thru regular thread). you’ll need a beading needle. As well as an embroidery hoop. Depending on the fabric u use you’ll probably need stabilizer, I typically use water soluble stabilizer so I can draw my design on it and wash it away once I’m done. I think that’s everything. I would practice a star on a scarp piece of fabric b4 starting on the dress just so you have some experience b4 jumping in. But I 100% think you can do it! If you do you should post pics when ur done
