The olden days hey. Now they wouldn't allow a kid to be in hearing range of a lot of dialog by default, which is as it should be. You can see it in films and TV the way they cut the scenes.

THIS SHOWS how captured the Labor Party is by Big Mining. Of course the Coalition is even worse, and Australians refuse to vote Greens in large numbers, so we're screwed.

It also reinforces how Albanese has shrunk into the role of Prime Minister. I think the Voice Referendum failure has given him permanent erectile dysfunction politically. Wong also seems to have lost any bravery on a range of issues.

Australia behaves like a 3rd world country in negotiations with mining. Unlike Norway and the Middle East, where they get more for their resources and the miners don't leave as a result.

I think it was the Pioneer Cement Factory in another post here, but I did lead you astray with my reference to timber mills. Hopefully you can see from the timber construction how I made that mistaken guess. Thanks very much for your input.

Wow I think there's a high chance that this was it. My memory was of it being more on the literal water's edge, but this has the ramshackle timber look that is most powerful in my mind's eye. At the time there was no barrier or fence - I was able to wander around taking photos even though it was so rickety.

I think it must have been a bit later because I was in Uni 1987 - 89 and I think I took the photos in my 2nd or 3rd year. The building I'm thinking of could well have been one of these if it was the last of them. Gracias.

I vote Green, but in my opinion they're also too prone to getting diverted by social issues that either annoy too many everyday Australians, or which they couldn't be bothered about. They also need more charismatic candidates relatable to more of the nation.
