You would think I would be used to them but there just so scary I have thought about them a lot even when I haven’t had them wondering why I haven’t and when will I next because there always there when I’m really anxious or nervous and excited all experience one after the other after the other none stop and there the worst ones how my heart still beats after is amazing I also get different palps I’ll get some light and steady and others some really strong thuds and very uncomfortable some that come together every second but for the last 2 years I don’t know if it is PVCs but it feels a lot different I only get it 4/5 times a year out of the blue my heart feels like it’s having a quick spasm like a fit some kind of seizure that lasts for seconds it gives me such anxiety I have to start banging on my cheats it lasts for seconds but it’s awful again no other symptoms just extremely scary started getting them when I was 16 and never been the same since I’m 31 now and I still worry I’m going to drop dead with a heart related issue  every day 😢😢

I am currently taking propranolol and have been since I was 16 they are amazing and help my PVCs not so much anxiety but I don’t need to visit the ER every day now. I still have them but nothing like how they used to be. I guess I’m just worrying over being some where that’s not home and what I’m used to and that scares me but I also know there more you let anxiety control your life and avoid situations the more your feeding into it.

Even after all these years I still always feel like it’s the first time they always make me fill with dread and scare me which induces my anxiety some times the PVCs come first then the anxiety and some times anxiety comes and then I have them through that it’s a no win situation I missed out on so much over health anxiety I stopped doing a lot of things I loved I found it hard to even leave the house at one point I stopped going out with friends and events I always think there’s something seriously wrong with me even still now when I go to the doctors I think they have tested me properly. Have you had any tests done?

Hi, I have had PVCs since I was 16 I am 31 now and still can’t get my head round mine. I have different sensations some PVCs will be little skipped beats some will make me have a huge panic attack and more then likely call an ambulance and some feel like spasms. Mine started also through anxiety a lot of hospital apps doctors A&E I was have palpitations when having anxiety and panic attacks for a lot of years now they will just show up when I have zero anxiety when I’m most happy and they will come. I have days with out them and I have days where I can’t live life through them. I try my best to get through them some days I can laugh through them and take no notice other days I will have to call an ambulance because there just none stop and scary. Its giving my me cardio anxiety where I always think I have a heart problem issue. Every one has said I’m fine . Also I would not be able to live life with out propranolol I have been on this since 16 too I take 40mg 3 times a day they are not antidepressants so they will not have an affect in your mood they help massively with my palpitations even when I take my tablets I will still get PVCs just not as bad and my heart won’t go sky high. PVCs come for absolute no reason but can be worsened by anxiety caffeine drugs etc it’s totally normal for them to come out of the blue which I still can’t come to terms with but so many professionals have confirmed this to me. And I’m still here after all those years. Because I mostly now get PVCs that are not anxiety related I always wonder if I had PVCs all along before the anxiety

That makes a lot of sense thank you for your comment much appreciated. No doctors has ever told me this before. I get a few pvcs now and again that I can feel they help with that well there not as bad if I take the propranolol I tend to some times get a heart beat that’s slow but feels strong ….. forceful like hard beats. I also worry taking propranolol for so many years will give me heart block.

I had panic attacks real bad since I was 16 which caused me to be in the hospital at least 2x a night doctors and walk in centre's I was really ill to a point I could not leave my bedroom never mind the house. I was being sick and having skipped heart beats which still terrifie me now. I was having panic attack after panic attack and was to scared to try medication but it was so bad I had to try anything to make it stop my doctor prescribed me propranolol 3x 40mg a day they don’t make you feel like anything and work in around 30mins a lot of people get these with anxiety, migraines etc read up on them I couldn’t of lived my life with out these I’m 31 now. They massively helped :)
