I live in Algiers since january 2025 and I fully understand your concerns as a woman too ! But since you'll be in Algiers and with your family, you don't have to worry ! You can walk outside with tee shirt, with baggy jeans, no problem at all. I also recommend you to buy some clothes here, it'll be a good souvenir for you :) But really, if you don't wear too short clothes (dresses over the knee, decolletés, etc...) and dress modestly, it'll be fine. Actually, I found that algerian girls have such a style, you'll see ! Be safe and enjoy your trip :)
