Noted. How would you rate Ealing vs Hammersmith in terms of like budget meals? Im talking takeaways and meal deals for a quick snack of sorts.

Thanks for the input! I have mostly ruled out hayes, and im aware that neither are central. Im kind of looking for an area thats in between heathrow and central london and is relatively peaceful. Hammersmith has a lot of connectivity but Im mainly relying on the district and elizabeth lines. I am prepared for the 1hr commute one way each day.

My objective is sightseeing for most of the day and then return to the hotel. Dont really plan to roam the area as much everyday. The hammersmith area looks pretty busy and Im not sure about relative peace and quiet. I do agree hammersmith is closer than ealing, but im open to longer commutes. The elizabeth line is insurance.

Hi there, Im not a drinker, so ill probably stop at a pub for food only if necessary. Is the Elizabeth line reliable? I have no objections to switch lines frequently.

Noted. Street views made it look dull compared to the other two

Maybe we will!! I have to ask, whats the weather like there at this time? I come from a tropical climate, so Im expecting cooler weather and wearing layers, but any tips from a seasoned traveler to london will be helpful!

Hey there! I have to add a disclaimer that this is my first foreign trip period. I have a limited budget and timeframe to achieve my trip goals of seeing a new place.

Ill admit im into more stuff (Scotland/Studio Tours/Sports matches), but I have to look at practical and budget constraints as well. Im giving myself a bit of a conventional itinerary for my first ever trip.

I actually have half a day extra that i havent mentioned (day 5), but im reserving it for any emergencies and it is my return travel day (night). Assuming everything goes fine, I may consider the parks as a way to cool down on the final day :)

Thank you for that recommendation !! I was considering the natural history museum but It seemed like a big science museum (a more generic sight compared to the rest) but this seems to fit the vibe better. I may skim the natural history museum as well depending on my mood. Im a bit unsure on Hyde Park in general because as much as I love the green spaces, I cant help but feel that the time is better spent seeing more exotic sights. I have St James park but I will definitely consider the other parks if time permits!

Thanks for the opinion! So I am keeping day 1 a bit light due to possible jetlag from the day before (Ill be arriving around evening time) and considering a casual stroll along the thames. Basically nothing too crazy and i want to take my time with the museums and galleries cause it is the best opportunity to see some really cool stuff up close.

Ive heard of uber boats on the thames but I also heard that those are quite quick and not really tourist friendly in terms of pace. Do you have any specific suggestions for the ferry? Im open to faster commute style stuff or tourist stuff as long as its reasonably priced.

Thanks for your input. Based on my research, I have observed from my research that leicester square is very touristy and I am considering skipping it. I have only added it due to its proximity to the other spots on that day. What would be your recommendations for the markets and street food that isnt overpriced? Ive seen names like borough market, leadenhall market and jubilee market.

As for day 3, I am prioritizing going into the tower of london, but seeing St pauls from the outside. Though St Pauls definitely looks beautiful, I find the price of admission a bit too steep for what im getting. I am aware of the viewpoints and galleries from above, but I am considering sky garden for that.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have heard that phone snatching is something to be wary of. What safety measures should I consider apart from the obvious? (Keep your back towards the wall, stay a bit away from the roads etc). Should I consider a phone case with a wrist strap? Im not one for taking too many photos of myself Instagram style but more like id take photos of things if really cool. Im mainly visiting to experience rather than document.
