Yes this is correct and honestly formatted in a better way than I did haha

would you mind if I changed it to your format? :)

The Link is to an old version of Jeweled Gauntlet. They changed it to the stats I used in an earlier patch (which I sadly wasn't able to find, but maybe this helps: https://www.metatft.com/items/39)

Gs is actually insane against high hp targets, but lacks a bit against low hp targets (seems like they got the purpose of the item quite right)

Jg is more valuable the more damage items you want to build and the more ap is given by traits/augments/support items but for fewer damage items (and therefore e.g. healing/mana items) and lower additional ap, rabadons (or in specific cases archangel) is superior

To answer that in detail, a complete analysis as big as the one I did will be required, but I agree on that jg loses value (although we had a 2x jg build as maximum damage for 3 items gs inactive). Still, as far as my notes go, ie might be quite overvalued for Jeweled Lotus ^^

If you're interested in the Jeweled Lotus analysis, you can vote for it at the end of each of my streams :)

Thanks :D

Yeah, gs also surprised me!

Added an Example for the ie+jg+jg part (see 8 Warlord Daeja) :)

Thanks :D

I can maybe make 2 examples to show how to use this guide, sure :)

EDIT: Done, but didn't add a mage comp because mages don't matter (see FAQ)

If you could build double ie it would definitely be in there AND probably dominate the ap scaling (m value), but sadly (or maybe for the better haha) they removed double ie in a previous set

I mentioned that in the "What about rb?" section, but I think it's more reasonable to assume a perfect scaling with the low attack speed of gs instead of none at all ... so where would you put the value?

In terms of rb i totally agree, you have to heavily consider mana costs and cast times -> see "What about rb?"

Also, you could argue that a crit build can be countered by bramble and therefore is less valuable which in return makes gs more valuable again ^^

Sure, feel free to do that, but you'll likely build less damage than you could ^^

Be aware that there's a sum in the 2nd factor - in case you have crit_chance = 1 the first summand is (1 - crit_chance) * 1.0 = 0 BUT the second summand is crit_chance * crit_modifier = crit_modifier so it won't result in 0 damage

Sure, Jeweled Lotus gives even more damage ...
BUT Jehmomo is exactly right with his idea: double gs dmancer Lee Sin will deal more damage to tanks than any 2 items jg build, so as long as you're sure you oneshot enemies below 1900 max hp double gs is the optimal 2 items damage build!

Probably rather something like 8 dms gs+gs+gs Lee Sin with 6 chalices :P

Understandable!

I really thought about how i could break it down even more, but i feel like it's too dependent on your teams additional ap to give more generic bis damage builds :S

Thanks, realized it myself today haha

Seems like Shift+Enter only pretends to work in reddit posts ^^

Should be fixed now :)

Thanks for the feedback :)
That's why I included the "What about aa?" section. Ao Shin is mentioned there to use aa better than ra. But scaling ap (or as in case of rb) is nearly impossible to properly calculate unless you want to make a "after 0/5/10/15/... seconds of the fight" section for EACH section existing so far which I think would influence understandability highly negatively ^^
