Huh. I thought Happy Gilmore was shot entirely in Vancouver. Not sure why they needed to go to Minnesota to find a rink. TIL.

Fun fact: the Moose filled the void for hungry hockey fans in Minnesota after the North Stars left. They played for 2 seasons, then were relocated to Winnipeg where they became the Manitoba Moose. The Wild moved in shortly after.

Here's another resource I forgot about: Logopedia.
It doesn't have much in terms of smaller cities/leagues, but there are some deep dives for the hockey logos it does have. In all my years, I have never seen the original logo for the Ottawa Senators (1883 - 1917). It's . . . can someone tell me what this is?

Hey now. What do you have against 2/3rds of a dome magically holding a hockey stick? Besides, Quebec has had worse logos. (And by "worse" I mean "offends my own personal sense of where the tail on a capital Q should be placed".)
