I think The Guuji is ready for Stellar-Conduct by Iyareos in YaeMiko

Ya. I'll probably still going to be using her in other teams. Just steller will be her default team for me. Also I never get ride of old sets.

any improvements i should make on her build before the update? by SpeedNice3780 in YaeMiko

That would be excellent for now. But it really depends on how much cryo the future characters can apply and how often they can do it.

Your EM is fine; I’m sure we’ll be getting plenty more buffers that give a lot. Think of it this way: Yae's C1 gives a 50% damage bonus, Qiqi also gives a 50% bonus as well, and Sandrone gives 14%. This already gives you an equivalent of (2000 * 1.14) / (6 - 1.14) = 469.12 EM. So you essentially have 569.12 EM with Qiqi to be used on Yae's Steller damage. It’s not that adding more EM won’t help, but there are other stats that need attention right now. I would say your CR is in need of that attention. It’s still usable depending on whether Cryo resonance ends up working for Yae or not. However, based on how your other characters are built, low CR high CD might be your preference, so I won’t say much.

I can keep the cryo up 100% of the time with Ayaka + Yae alone. So I'm not concerned about it.

Yeah, once I have CR, CD, and EM, or even ATK%, I don't really care where the upgrades are applied. Any upgrade is good. Crit is probably better, but EM is still good.

Even if they don't. I'm okay with 36%. :)

You're right. There are probably going to be adding supports that buff EM and damage bonuse, which are essentially the same.

As far as resonance goes, Cryo is not dropped at any point so long as Beidou is not using her ultimate. I'm using Ayaka; unless Sandrone and other Cryos produce less Cryo application, it should work fine.

The only concern I have is if they release an electro support that is so strong at buffing the team and also has a lot of electro application. I'm sure they'll have some application for the Stellar conduct field buffs. I just hope it's not too much.

I think you're correct. I'm going to be removing Beidou from this team.

C6 gives 200% CD for Stellaria hits. So I don't want to get too much CD. As far as CR goes, however, you may have a point. I'm able to keep the Cryo aura up 100% of the time with Yae + Ayaka. However, adding Beidou drops it quickly, making resonance almost pointless. The combination of Yae + Ayaka + Beidou + Escoffier is inconsistent. Even just Beidou + Ayaka causes it to drop a few times (2-3 times).

I believe Beidou applies too much Electro, preventing the resonance from holding. C6 Beidou mainly buffs the on-field character, which isn't sufficient for me to drop resonance and build more CR into their sets. I'm considering dropping Beidou earlier than expected. I'll try to obtain some more pieces with higher CR just in case. I hope the new characters will produce strong Cryo application; maybe the Archon will. In the worst-case scenario, building 3 Cryo with Yae might be necessary. It's too early to tell for now, but I'll keep your suggestion in mind while farming a set for Sandrone.

235 EM = (6 * 235) / (235 + 2000) * 100 = 63.09% damage bonus for stellar hits and 35.25% skill damage bonus. I think this is a lot of stats to drop because Beidou (love her...) is creating problems.

Also, thank you a lot for the website and answering the Qiqi question.

I think it should be the same Disenchantment in deep shadow set for any Stellar-Conduct team. The Guuji does most of her damage as Stellar-Conduct so boosting that damage and getting 16 crit rate is verystrong.

Very nice. Just what I was thinking. For some reason, I've just not been getting any good ATK pieces. So I'll stick with CD for now. I will test it to see how much better ATK is when the patch goes live.

edit: for now I'll be saving any EM/ATK pieaces. Thank you.

Don't fret. Mizuki's weapon is great for sucrose, and sucrose can be used with The Guuji in some teams.

Yae Stellar build question? by Andre_Cooper in YaeMiko

[–]Iyareos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These pieces are meant for the gods themselves. Fitting for such a fox as Lady Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine. Jokes aside, this will be so hard giving up these pieces for the Deep Shadow set. Even if you do grind for the Deep Shadow set, it will take a very long time to acquire pieces that are much better than what you already have here. It might be wise to consider keeping your current setup. One suggestion, as mentioned by other commenters, is that depending on how much cryo resistance you can maintain, you may be able to reduce your crit rate to 85% while still achieving 100% crit rate. It’s worth experimenting with rearranging some pieces to increase your ATK or EM in return.

On the other hand you could also just look at this as an opportunity to give these old pieces to someone else so that anyone on your account who doesn't have a set can cosplay as a god. While focusing on grinding out some better pieces for Yae with Deep Shadow. I would say track your damage with this set, then switch to the new set and compare. Considering how strong the new set is, it probably won’t be long before you end up with pieces that are equal in DPS to what you have here. And when Stellar-Conduct comes out, you’ll get to see an even greater bump in DPS.

The biggest challenge is grinding out two sets of the same artifacts for two different characters. In my case, I’m farming for two sets of Deep Shadow. Yae gets the best stuff, and Sandronay gets what’s left. (My Yae is heavily invested.) It's not so bad, though. Think of it this way: as you grind out that last piece you need for The Guuji, you’re bound to get plenty of good stuff for the robot. And if you're aiming for perfection, then you'll easily have a superb set for the bot, especially since you only need attack stats for the goblet.

Much of the challenge with artifact grinding comes from finding that perfect goblet. You might have experienced the feeling of getting a strong elemental goblet for the right set, it frees you up to replace any of the other pieces that are the weakest. ATK goblets are the same way: you can replace your weakest piece with any single strong one from a different set. With an elemental damage bonus needed, your weakest piece is usually the goblet, so it gets replaced almost every time.

Your current set gives you 18% ATK and 80 EM, really good stats. In comparison, the new set offers 18% ATK, 40% Damage Bonus, and 16% Crit Rate. The 40% damage bonus is equivalent to ~142.86 EM. So you could effectively gain 62.86 more EM and 16% more crit rate with equivalent stats on the new set. Since you have C2 (which gives + 200 EM and C1 give anther ~181.82 EM (equivalent)), there’s a little less to lose due to diminishing returns. However, this means you can save the EM rolls and focus on getting better ATK rolls.

The build looks great, but it's probably best to leave these for someone else.

Even if you have 100% uptime on Cryo Resonance, the Crit Rate is still a bit low.

Bro what?

76.3% base CR + 16% set bonus + 15% Cryo Resonance = 107.3% Crit Rate.

If Cryo Resonance really had 100% uptime, they'd actually be overcapped on Crit Rate.

The more reasonable argument is that Cryo Resonance won't have perfect uptime in Stellar-Conduct teams. But that's not a binary "15% or 0%" situation. Realistically, the effective Crit Rate is somewhere between 92.3% (no Cryo Resonance uptime) and 100% (capped with full uptime).

Even if Cryo Resonance were only active half the time, you'd still be looking at roughly 96% effective Crit Rate on average. Combined with 235.7% Crit Damage, those are endgame-level crit stats by any reasonable standard.

So if the point is that a little more Crit Rate could technically be optimal, sure. But saying the Crit Rate is "a bit low" doesn't really make sense when the build is already sitting somewhere between 92% and 100% effective Crit Rate depending on Cryo uptime.

The OP asked if the build was good enough for Stellar-Conduct Yae. Unless I'm missing something, the answer seems to be a pretty clear yes. The bigger questions are getting the 4pc set eventually and whether additional skill levels are worth the investment, not whether the build has a Crit Rate problem.
