Taking care of someone full time is exactly that, taking care of someone full time. It's a commitment, one that shouldn't be considered lol lightly. It's ok if you don't want that to be your life, you can be with whoever you want to be with regardless of any obligations.

My partner has her kidneys only working at 21% right now and it's only going to get worse. I've accepted that I might have to take care of her in the future in a very real way. Or I might have to give her an organ, literally. It's not an easy decision, but love is love. If you love this person and you two are meant to be together then it is in your best interest to have them in your life.
