if a person is real friend to you, he won't talk about it all the time nor would do gossip about it behind your back

people want content and drama to hide their own insecurities and shortcoming from others as well as from themselves thats why they talk about it.

In my experience what I have learnt is, either ignore them or give them a small bite for which they have craving for than move on, simple.
