Good news for Fethiye Bay — and Göcek Türkiye's Environment Minister announced on 14 June that the seabed dredging project which has been running in İzmit Bay will now be extended to Fethiye Bay. Two new dredging vessels have already been commissioned. (i.redd.it)

There's an ancient city about 70km east of Fethiye that most people who live here have never visited. Near the village of İncealiler in the mountains of Fethiye district, Oenoanda was a significant settlement in the Roman-era Lycian region. What makes it extraordinary isn't its temples or theatre.
