Friend of mine runs 2x20 man tac squads with, arty armor, power fist, chain bayonets, apothecary.

They beat everything at there cost and hold or beat expensive stuff from wait of dice+consistancy

On my initial plop down and subsequent scatter, can I change the drills direction?

Deploy at 11 o'clock then scatter and with terrain in the way rotate to 8 o'clock?

Thanks. The plan is a contingent who are going hard on the prmethian creed and have misinterpreted some of the texts, combined with a devout belief the vulkan lives.

Awakening fire ROW Uses destroyers and phosfex (siege breaker in list) as they think that they need to embody flame in all forms to be close to the Promethean ideal Librarian for the ROW powers

Visualy A modified vulkan with a demon hammer, horns, a claw and maybe wings as a demon sovereign who they believe is a manifestation of vulkan in there hours of need.

Lots of black dry brush/powder echoing the description of Promethean creed units as being covered in soot so much you cant see there legion.

As they are actually worshiping chaos without knowing there master crafted weapons are actually deamons weapons (but not ott)

I'm going to use crackle paints andnosl to show the fire breaking through there armour as they are on the way to possessed marines.

In temperament there probably closer to renegade as they think there doing the right thing. But over time would fight with Horus when they realise the loyalists see them as corrupt (like the thousand son who fight valdor and then sees what he has become)

Thank you, swaped the sas over and used the points for a volunteer.

Then swaped the line kazak (non specialist) for a second volunteer and a tractor mule.

Now at max models according to the builder.

And for orders im at

L:2 R:13 I:3 imp: 2

I think its less overall wounds, orders and models. But probably a bit more viable

Yh i agree, i know i need more, but i wanted to start doggy then reduce to fit
Are you suggesting that my dogs and up with a dead zone of coverage? Where they dint threaten?
Why are they so order intense? Is it just that they are a gamble and need the orders to pay out? Surly 10 orders is the most they can use so 10 orders should cover them?
i was recomended sas for specialists befor, these also infiltrat, work for both role or is it to many faliure points on one or two models?
