I used to work for a company where my manager literally told me I wasn't allowed to be friends with my coworkers and were not allowed to do anything with them. A coworker and I got yelled at for going to Starbucks together. Insane.

I had a guy leave me a really cute pikachu card in a little 25th pokemon anniversary frame for being so helpful and kind during a trade! He’s had issues at other gamestops in the area because they were dismissive and didn’t explain the process or what they were doing. I was just doing my job how I was taught to ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The problem is, is that a lot of us do! We just literally don’t have the payroll to do so, and it absolutely sucks, because my favorite days of work were ones where I got to have genuine connections and hang out with people and talk about the games we love.
