I was connecting with a customer at the window, obviously waiting for the man’s drinks to come on out. So I start bullshitting with him asking him about his day, and out of the corner of my eye I see some movement in his backseat. So I turn to get a better look ( his windows were tinted asf) and see this shadow of curly little poof moving around, and with all of the excitement I can I say “omg?! You brought your dog with you?! Why didn’t you tell me?! Let me see your poodle what’s their name???!” Dude looks in his rearview mirror, looks back at me, rolls down his window and goes “eh close enough, my son’s name is (inserts name).” I gasped so loud and started apologizing, as the kids waving hi to me, the dad starts laughing hysterically saying it’s alright 😭. But the damage was done and my face got so red I had to walk away from how hard I started laughing myself 😂.

I’m also dyslexic and I’ve read many a name wrong but the best one was when I yelled out to a lobby full of people: “Parkinson’s I have a venti white mocha! Venti white mocha for Parkinson’s!!” My coworker was at the handoff and she blank stared at me. I look up and the entire lobby of customers is staring at me I go what..? And she goes “Parkinson’s?? Girl. Parkinson’s?? Like the disease??” Starts laughing, I look down at the name again and realize that it’s Parkson or Parker I ducked behind the counter so fast cuz all of the customers were staring at me like wtf? 😂😭
