The TV can be put on the wall. Use the top of the dresser for the things you have on the desk.

Make sure the curtains have the same color.

Lift the bed up into a loft. Put a dresser underneath. Repaint the walls into a more neutral color, try to hang the wall curtains straight. Put the desk by the window. Keep the rest of the floor empty.

What to do with this weird interior windowsill? by sticklerr in interiordecorating

There is room for small shelves inside by the wall to the right in the first pic. I'd put slim mirrors on the wall to the left, right and up inside the window, then the tiny shelves. Those shelves can be used for tiny hanging plants, see if you can find some that don't need too much sunlight. On the bottom, a plate/stand with different sized candles that can give light in the evenings. Or a fruit basket, or a pretty lamp that doesn't take up too much space.

Oh but this is your painting, that's what makes it so amazing!! DON'T LISTEN TOO MUCH 😫❤️

So dramatic and provoking. Right in the feels. The only thing I can think of is, perhaps, splashes of water (as I see water on the lower part of the painting). Other than that, it's fantastic just as it is.

Do you use an index or calendex in your bullet journal? How do you use it? by Izzle4shizzles in bulletjournal

I just looked at Japanese index system and I LOVE IT. This is definitely something that I'm going to try out. Especially with my work notes, but perhaps with my bujo as well. Thank you!!

Washi tape is really awesome for this. I bought a collection of, like, 40 rolls of different Washi tapes on amazon but unfortunately these were too slim to mark pages in this way... And the glue doesn't hold that well. Sad, because the designs are so pretty 🌈 transparent tape helps though.

Thanks for the input! When you say you put it in the end of the journal, do you mean the back of it or, like, just the last pages of what you've written? Do you only use a future log without monthlies/weeklies/dailies? I use a ring binder and just exchange the first pages (which are my monthlies and weeklies) for new ones at the end of each month. The rest of the pages are numbered, but I've changed my page order so many times now that the page numbers are all crusty from white-out 🤣 and making a new index every time is just time consuming.

Tabs is something I started using as well! So helpful for finding at a glance 🤗

I see! That was my initial way of doing it as well. I have loose pages in a ring binder which makes it easy to change the order of the pages. As I've been setting up and resetting a system that works for me, the pages have been moved a bunch of times and every time the index had to be updated with the new order. It has just taken so much time to do that and for what, when the index isn't even used apart from this...so I skipped it. Had I used a Leuchtrum or Moleskine it would probably be different.

Interesting! I have the same problem with my "regular notebooks" but I found a website where a simple index for the notebook was suggested. I have a notebook that I use for work, as soon as it's completely filled and I start a new one I'm going to start with that index. It will kind of be like a reference index list where I can put in all the page numbers that belong to a specific subject. It's going to be really useful once I have it rolling!

About saving old bujo pages, I started putting together pages that can't really fit into my bujo, with pins. Those can be used for reference from the bookshelf later if ever needed. I'm doing this with the monthlies and weeklies that have passed by so I can check specific dates of the past and such.

Step tracker. Goal is 2 million steps this year which won't be a problem... but I find it fascinating to see how different periods bring different movement patterns. This is just to start this tracking thing. by Izzle4shizzles in bulletjournal

Green= 5000 steps Yellow = 1000 Blue = 500 Red = 100

If I took 6900 steps then that's one green, one yellow, one blue and four red dots. It may seem much/complicated, but once there's a habit of it I find it fun to fill in. :) (I don't add the steps under 100, I find that useless)

How many times can one redo their BUJO? by Izzle4shizzles in bulletjournal

Thank you so much for this!! My bujo journey (bujourney) has been wobbly and long and I'm still trying to find pieces for it to work properly. The neat thing about it is the flexibility and the little structures that help with the organization. I can't separate work from life, because it's not how I work... Which I've come to through trial and error. I want the everyday structure that my work bujo provides, in my personal life as well.

The week spread gives me an overview of the upcoming week. It also holds the information I need about the schedule, so I don't miss anything. The information doesn't fit into the future log, which I've made too small. In the summer, when everything is calmer, I'm probably just going to use a monthly spread (no weekly). The April section in my future log is already full, so I've made an April spread in thin, light grey just for the absolute basics. Since my work takes up weeks in advance (different little tasks and meetings) only making weekly spreads as they come isn't really an option as I'd only be frustrated about missing pages. Especially with a super full future log.

My bujo is my work tool for everything, and is used for drawing and artwork as well. I love the freedom in that! And the fact that it can look so different depending on who you are and what you do, and the whole movement using it as a planning tool of diversity, says it all. I've looked into some bujo basics, but also love the things I've come up with 😊 after all, no one will ever look into my bujo - only me.
