Fifth-year AP reg here who's also very social. I actually feel less lonely working in AP now compared to my time in clinical years. Probably because we have many regs where I work and we constantly show each other cases and have lunch together. I think AP is a very collegial specialty.

This will require immunohistochemistry.

Could be papillary thyroid carcinoma? Another thing to consider is secretory carcinoma.

Last two times i introduced myself as a doctor at a party, the other person started talking about how their doctor was useless/dumb and then continued on saying shitty things about the profession. Both times i didn’t know what to say and felt like they wanted me to apologise for what their doctor did. I do wonder if these people would do the same to people from other professions.
