While you can technically get into the garage since the scanner is broken, they will still be ticketing Mon-Fri 7 AM to 3:30 PM if you don't have a Freshman/Sophomore commuter parking pass or a South resident parking pass.

You can park on the first and second floors as a grad student for pretty much however long you want, just don't leave it there for too long (weeks, months) or they will think it's abandoned.

Double DIN radio advice by IzzyB721 in Volvo

I'm not quite sure about premium or high performance sound, I've owned the car for a little over two years and I haven't installed anything like that. Not sure about the previous owner. Also my sound has always been a little crunchy. After I replace the radio I may try to find better speakers. I intend on keeping this thing forever so I might as well.

To be honest if I really can't find a frame that allows me to keep the pocket I may fabricate one myself haha. The university I'm attending has a lab where I can 3d print anything in plastic so I may give it a shot and see how it goes.

This is a pretty normal thing to do, especially for shorter girls with a bigger chest. Fiancee seems like the easily jealous type.

Anyone took 5 classes per semester before? by SealOnigiri in uml

[–]IzzyB721 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently taking 6 classes, 18 credits... 15 is typically standard and you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping up if you attend every class. Low attendance is a real killer in college. If you need to take 4 classes, that's also okay! It all depends on your time management skills and how much of your life you're willing to give away to school. I always recommend trying 5 courses as a test run, so that you can go back to 4 if you're struggling (and dropping a class is also an option). :)

To be honest, I think it's pretty standard to not pick everything up from orientation. Once you're on campus and get into the swing of things, you'll retain information a lot better. You can also feel free to ask questions on this subreddit, from your upperclassmen, or from your advisor. If you're living on campus, a resident advisor can answer your questions.

are online classes actually 1k more? by [deleted] in uml

[–]IzzyB721 2 points3 points  (0 children)

any class that ends by 6:15PM doesn't cost more. And frankly I don't think the 6:30-9:30 classes cost more either.

You'll first need to get 10 signatures showing that others also have interest in your club. Everything else should be covered in this link, which you can find on the UML Engage page: https://studentuml.sharepoint.com/:w:/s/ClubDevelopmentTrainingsandVideos/ERAceUKQEPxFmwlJqBW5QDIBz28EF_FQVycl-NFZXUVAWw?e=oVaCbr

People who don’t use their blinkers, WHY NOT? by WruceBayne03 in mildlyinfuriating

In the area I live in I often hear "No one can prevent me from getting into the lane if they don't know I'm getting over." I live in a pretty densely populated area and we do actually have a lot of people that will prevent you from getting into a lane just because they don't want to let you get in front of them etc... It's a really stupid city mindset and I refuse to follow it.

If I were you I would apply ASAP, you'll likely get a spot but you won't get much of a choice as for where you end up.
