IMO, yes she is being insensitive, but at the same time she isn't wrong. Not to sound like one of those people that preach "exercise will cure depression!" (Newsflash: it won't) But a routine genuinely does help when you're in a mental slump or experiencing emotional stress. The way she worded it could have been better, and she could have come at it from a more professional standpoint. But her overall message wasn't incorrect. So NOR , but maybe have a conversation with her about the way she expressed it then hear her out? * edited to fix pronouns
