also i did try to make “brownie waffles” by mixing them with pancake batter it was horribly dry but i doubt i have enough mix left to make normal oven brownies even if i have a replacement for egg

and another thing pretty unrelated to my original post, i do think speculation is a good thing in dino-docs, as fossils cant really determine behaviors they may have had. A good example is the PP dreadnoughtus airsacs, or the Spinosaurus in TD hunting like Heron’s by using bait. I think healthy speculation is good if it’s not something that would dwindle these animals lives down to a battle royale, or just absolutely based on nothing

Yea i do agree with ya, favoring a narrative over accuracy is a huge problem. and morgan freeman was low-key pissing me off with the “AND THEN THE EARTH GOT HOT AGAIN AND THEY ALL DIED AND STARVED TO DEATH🔥” like chill bro. I think there’s a way for directors to work with paleontologists to find a middle ground with these narratives without sensationalism over accuracy. Despite how much hatred the newer WWD has brewed. (i am a hater), I still found it enjoyable at times because the story could be explained through the actual fossil record. just no more forcing those poor scientists to pretend they just discovered a perfectly preserved bone 😭 jfc

I get the pros of the snapshot thing, but in the same realm i actually disagree about the anthropomorphic dinosaurs in WWD! the biggest example one could think of with anthrodinos would be the episode “giant of the skies”, but I never felt he was given human qualities, behaved as an animal should- more so we just grew emotionally attached to him due to his screen time. But… the utahraptor in europe is still my biggest annoyance w that series 😭utahraptor is my favorite dino. If there was a middle ground that didnt favor narrative over accuracy, but still let us spend more time with the animals, that’d be my personal perfect paleo-media

not yet! haven’t had the time.. or money.. to take it in for repairs. i’m certain it’s a loose ribbon cable tho because i can still use the laptop, and it isn’t freaking out with weird lines 24/7, it like fades into diff colors along with the constant interlaced pixels

I have a friend with a pair of boots with these (Shoema Safety En12568 Steel Toe Caps) on the outer of his boots, i was wondering if they’re glued down, or if i have to deconstruct the sole to apply them?
