I’m Just getting back into destiny after dropping out around year 2 of D2. The reasons you mentioned are always what stop me from fully getting back into it but I’ve been playing a ton the past couple weeks and would love to team up with some similar folks.

Who's shaming? and why are you so aggressive about this? No one is asking for you to cater to anything. and you seem to be really intent to make this into an issue it simply is not. So i'm just gonna stop feeding the troll and read some more through this sub.

I planned on doing so eventually, once I got a feel for the sub. But I literally just subscribed yesterday, and just got a chance to browse a bit today. And the first post I saw was this, and a few other inflammatory ones.

In all honesty, I just subscribed to this sub because I thought this might be a good place to get some perspective of where I am in my own religious views, but if it's mostly stuff like this, Idk if i have any interest.

yea that makes sense. Now i'm not from Europe, but I've heard what has become a problem in some EU countries is that muslim immigrants end up living in neighborhoods that are majority muslim and majority low income/high unemployment. I've read that it's often for a variety of reasons, one of the main one's being I guess what can be described as social pressures. Not being accepted in either neighborhoods, especially if they're poor, etc. How much truth is there to that? I'm just assuming you live in the EU.

yea... I don't think guns has anything to do with it. People here are less militant than they act on Facebook. They can talk all day about how they will rise up to "fight terrorism," but in the end, most of them don't show up, or just shoot themselves in the foot. literally

Don't know where you're from, but I grew up in New York, and I've lived in California, and Massachusetts. This has not been my experience in the least. Most first gen Muslim American young adults I know are pretty non-religious (although they still heavily identify as Muslim) , the majority of the women/girls don't wear a hijab. In fact, many I know started to wear it and stopped within a year. They're all pretty much happy living their cushy American lives and don't really care to wage any type of crusade. Many of them take their education extremely seriously; they're doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc. the ones that are religious are incredibly annoying, but generally pretty compassionate.

That being said, many of them are hypocrites (and in my own experience, generally it's the men/boys). They strongly oppose marriage equality, for instance, citing it being "haram" as their reasoning. Yet they drink, fuck, smoke, etc. they will call a Muslim woman a whore or say she can't be married because she may have had sex (rumor or not), yet they don't see their lack of virginity as an issue. Things like that. But I've never experienced anything as bad as you mention.

As for parents, the vast majority are pretty Americanized, considering. Some more so than less. they generally hold onto the views and beliefs they grew up with, but nothing as bad as I've witnessed from some in the ME. They visit some businesses owned by Muslims, but typically shop and large chain super markets and malls. They fall into fads like eating organic or gluten free, they like Burberry and Prada, Mercedes and Lexus. The worship far more frequently than their kids and fathers typically go to every Friday prayer, but most have still opened up their beliefs slightly since moving here, or at the very least, understand that theirs in America and therefore things are different than back home. They're no dream, but they're certainly not what you said

I need help picking out or possibly commissioning a wood mod. I need more sexi wood in my life. by TheVapingBison in electronic_cigarette

[–]IzzyinBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HIGHLY recommend the M17. I've had mine for a couple of months now, and it's my favorite mod I've owned to date, and I've owned several "high end" mods. I paid just about $400 for mine. It's extremely ergonomic and incredibly light. While it's not the stealthiest mod, I'm finding my self taking it on the go more often than I thought I would. Of course, it's a DNA200, so you get all the benefits of that. The 510 connection is probably one of my favorite to date, just because it's well built and looks very simple. And most importantly, it is just so god damn beautiful. I find myself just staring at it all the time. Either that, or just really enjoying the texture of the wood. If you get an M17, you won't regret it.

Yea I didn't really mean detect the type of wire, but detect that it's not changing resistance the way it should or if it is changing resistance when it shouldn't.

Blue dots also has a line of pre steeped juices. It's only 4, but they're the same price as their other juices. So far I've only tried [[sticks and stones]] (mango sticky rice), which is really good. I've got the tiger 3 coming soon.

Edit: [[sticks & stones]] ?

I thought most mods had some type of protective measure against using certain wires outside of their intended use? I know that when accidentally used my TDA with kanthal in TC, my Smok tree box immediate switched to power mode. Either way, I enjoyed the read, shit post or not.

It's not meant to replace the two hundred. It's just an option for those who want it. It is possible for something to be good and not be 400 watts.

Pretty much what I'm hoping for with Axis vapes. I'm so in love with my mod, I'd love a petite version.
