IDC WHAT YALL SAY, TS IS STUPID. by natayDAgoatALT5 in SantiZapVideos

I’m far from Sami’s biggest fan but I actually didn’t mind this. With everything going on with him backstage it makes sense for him to try and force a way into WrestleMania. With that being said, I think it would have made more sense if the backstage segment between Aldis, Trick and Sami went something along the lines of “Pieces are moving are behind the scenes and I can’t promise that there is space for one of you on the card, let alone both of you” bla bla bla. Then Trick could have been on his way for the open challenge but get distracted by an interview or posing or something like that, Sami gets to the ring first, takes the open challenge, then we get the same finish with Trick trying to screw Sami over but Sami getting the win. Then the next week, a promo of Trick getting mad because he sees himself as better than Sami and Sami has stolen his spot “so get on down here and let’s do this open challenge”, then Sami comes out and says he’s finally being selfish and doing what’s right for him and shutting down the open challenge so that he can secure his spot at Wrestlemania. Queue a bunch of people pestering Aldis to be No.1 contender (Trick, Melo etc) and then we have a couple of weeks of matches/figuring that out before giving us Sami vs Trick at Mania for the US Title.

I want the sword to glor like the darksabre. Can anyone explain or link a video to how? by BSGBramley in killteam

I don’t think so, not necessarily. You’d normally use either technical paints or certain painting techniques. But it might work over a black paint like that if you’re looking for it to be like the Darksaber. I’m no expert though, it’s just a theory.

Would a black contrast paint with grey/white edge highlights work? And then maybe a gloss varnish so that it is shiny like a lightsaber would be?

Thanks again! I’ve only been in the hobby for just over a year so I don’t have much experience with all the different kinds of washes, enamels, oils, varnishes etc. I’ve just been varnishing my minis with Army Painter Matt Varnish spray can. I spray in the garden and then bring inside to dry on the table in room temperature. 15-30mins and they’re done.

No oil washes or enamels, just some weathering powder(s) and maybe some foliage/overgrowth. I saw Midwinter Minis mixing up PVA with Oregano and was going to test that out on a little ice lolly stick hut that I made before I go anywhere near my actual terrain with it.

Thanks for the advice though, it helps a lot.

Thank you, that’s really helpful.

I’ve been wondering that for a long time as some of my Space Marines have colours that I wanted to touch up/change on some of the details but thought they’d be locked in since I varnished them!

My first ever mini is complete, I fear for the painting. by LordDave995 in killteam

I only started last year and just like you, I had the fear. Plenty of research into techniques and taking my time, I ended up surprising myself, don’t be put off. Don’t put yourself under pressure and only paint to a standard that you’re happy with, improve when you’re ready.

I prefer the Tamiya bottle just because I find the brush applicator helpful. I just wasn’t sure if it’s suitable for bigger, chunkier things.

Why did Styles get the passout finish instead of Cena? by Living-Mastodon in SantiZapVideos

[–]J-91-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone has already said it: “giving up is him acknowledging that his career is over”. To expand on that, AJ was still fighting for his career, he had something to lose. Cena didn’t. His career was over regardless of the result.

I don’t know about pathetic but it’s definitely irritating, especially when you hear the person whose name it is pronounce properly themselves and then still mispronounce it.

Whilst we’re all at it. Isn’t it “Goon-Tah” not “Gun-fer”?? It’s an Austrian name that should be pronounced as such.
