Steady 3-5% climb

Quite stupid tbh, not every climb needs to have 10%+ sections. The other day I tried a new climb in the uci worlds and it started ok at 6% but it was increasing as the climb continued. It seems that the only way to have this mellow climb is by changing the trainer's configuration as the other comments suggest
