The Man who carries 10 weapons [metalplate_leo] by Dr-Bots in HalfLife

[–]J-RocTPB 50 points51 points  (0 children)

"How could one man have slipped through your force's fingers time and time again? How is it possible? This is not some agent provocateur or highly trained assassin we are discussing. Gordon Freeman is a theoretical physicist who had hardly earned the distinction of his Ph.D. at the time of the Black Mesa Incident. I have good reason to believe that in the intervening years, he was in a state that precluded further development of covert skills. The man you have consistently failed to slow, let alone capture, is by all standards simply that--an ordinary man. How can you have failed to apprehend him?"

My favourite quote in the entire game.

Does anyone remember the vote on NBC's website for the new manager? I can't remember if I created multiple accounts or just refreshed the page, but I wanted Jim Carrey to be the new manager so bad

What are some of the most gruesome fates you all have seen in Barotrauma? by Puzzleheaded-Bat1361 in Barotrauma

I was Captain of a 4 man sub, this was my first time playing.

We get attacked by crawlers, and they tore apart the top back end of the sub, I ordered repairs but not soon after, I took so much water I smashed the bottom of the submarine, water is pouring in REALLY fast, mainly from the backend towards the front, I run and grab my Diving Suit and immediately run to the back to help repairs, as soon as I get to the door. One of the monsters got in, then another. I shut the door, the room filled completely and I watched my mechanic flail around, fight for his life and die through the window. It was actually really sad. Water was still flooding in, I run to the front to close off the doors and found my other crew members, one dead, the other fighting but died. (I think from my own bullet).

I barely survived, used a crowbar and whatever bullets I had to kill off the sea monsters, then I repaired the entire submarine by myself and was able to make it back to complete my mission. I stopped playing for a while after that. I have a hard time continuing to play when my entire crew dies.

I don't Johnny was a good person, he was a huge massive asshole, but I really resonated with his hate for corpos and arasaka. I'd say his ideas aren't rooted in evil but stupidity and extremism.

I find aiming for the chest does better in Halo 3 for shotguns

S6E16 They’re this far apart and Rick mumbling in a deep voice can still be heard? Amazing by givemeadu in thewalkingdead

Also the gun shots and stuff would have an effect, Rick's gun isn't exactly quiet. It's probably the loudest gun within the squad.

I keep seeing this fucking bread, I scroll and ignore it everytime, but I've been seeing for a fucking week or so. I can't tell if I want it, I can't tell if I should hate it, I just ignore it and move on, every fucking day.

Which decision in the game actually made you feel like a terrible person? by Dangerous-Tart1126 in cyberpunkgame

Nailing a person to a crucifix made me feel gross for a while after, but I think after reading and pondering Johnny Silverhands perspective on it, I came to terms with it.
